The included protection plans & installation diacounts make this worth it if you buy a few electronics a year.

It was just two days before they changed the Totaltech membership plan and I was bothered that I paid extra. However, it was then explained to me that the new one doesn't include shipping. I'm more than happy I paid a few dollars extra for the old plan. I think Best Buy will have a lot of unsatisfied customers trying to sell this plan only to find out you have to pay an additional $125 for shipping of A/C's and such.

I very happy that i have the Best Buy Total membership. Just knowing that i can rely on Best Buy to solve any problems that i may have.

I have to know that I have this protection or I wouldn't buy the computer from best buy.

It's pricey, but the benefits are solid especially if you find yourself buying your electronics from best buy. For that reason, I'd recommend it, but the other memberships/warranties at best buy might be more feasible if you don't shop exclusively there.
