The membership has helped me through set up of my cable internet, laptop crash, wifi extender set up (which they couldn't get to work. Said it was Verizon issue).

This membership in a real value Meinber prices, plus unlimited Geek Squad support are great. Also, love the peace of mind of getting protection plans on our purchases!

I'm glad I've had this membership as I've needed a lot of tech support with some external hard drive issues I've been having. Only giving 4 stars because the store in Lynnwood didn't have great customer communication at first. Apparently there was a manager on leave though and they recognized that some things were falling through the cracks. Hopefully it gets better.

Helps out so much with purchasing items! The protection plan on it makes it worth it!

No-brainer if you buy lots of stuff from BB. Not a fan of the new deducible model but I appreciate the quick service/chats when something goes wrong. The extended return window has been great since the closest brick and mortar is over an hour away from me. Will probably continue to purchase.

For me, the peace of mind is worth the investment. Not long after I bought my laptop a windows update from Microsoft broke it. One of the techs from Best Buy spent between 30 minutes and an hour remotely working to successfully repair the damage that Microsoft caused. What a relief! And for no additional charge! I also will be using the tech service to install another SSD in my laptop with noi labor charge.

I was so pleased with the service that the manager gave me with my newer laptop that I brought my older laptop to him to fix it when I picked up the other one. Neither laptop could be fixed the way I had intended, but selling me both the laptop briefcase and the wired full-size extra keyboard was exactly what I needed to use with both of my older machines.

Didn't think I needed the protection plan, but it has proven to be one of the best investments I have made concerning computers and other items purchased from Best Buy. The staff at Geek Squad is the best!

I would highly recommend getting the year membership anytime I had a question I needed something done they could do it over the internet there was no trouble they've come to the house when I had something with my TV doesn't cost you anything it totally take care of you highly recommend it things cost too much these days not to have some backup
