After making countless number of trips to BB to get hold of a gpu I decided to purchase the totalTech membership has it’s been highly recommended by the sales rep to get benefit/advantage from auto notifications of gpu restock 5 minutes earlier than non members. After chatting with various reps via support there is no such thing. My experience so far is no different from not having this membership and like my title says it’s waste of money with a false information from sales rep. I came close to purchase once but got stuck into the ever non-ending “verify your account” which you might experience while trying to purchase a gpu. Tried chatting with BB agent to see if I can take advantage of any notifications, apparently the agent straight forward lied saying I’ve been added internally to the gpu list of notifications and I never got a single notification so far. After talking to an agent a day after, it was clarified that due to high demand for gpu’s notifications has been disabled even for cs . Another thing which sucks about BB chat support is that you get disconnected and would not be able to chat with the same agent if you either searching for a product/open a link sent by the agent while chatting. Once you get a page refreshed or taken to new product page you need to start over all the typing with new agent and they can’t connect you to previous one.

This membership is the best thing I ever purchased. I am really utilizing all the perks
