This is one of the best services that I’ve ever purchased and highly recommended to anyone that buys a lot of equipment from Best Buy

The membership is good and a good price, but I brought my laptop in and asked them to transfer the files from my laptop and some disk that I brought in. They could not open the disk but did downloaded the folders on my laptop but when I got home and put the new disk in every folder was completely empty. I lost all my files and I am not happy about that. I gave them the laptop to discard so I can't even bring it back to have them check and see what happened to their downloading process.

I was sold the total tech membership, it took 3 months to get the first appointment. The tech texted me his arrival time for the next day. No show, no call, no text. Texted, called, no response. I called the appointment place, they said the tech canceled it. I waited 4 hours… went into the store to calmly reschedule. Another month out. I get an email last night saying it’ll be 11:25 estimated arrival. No show, no nothing, I call the appointment place again. They said I needed to reschedule. It’s been 5 months!! 8 hours of my time waiting with NO communication. Now I’ve cancelled my renewal and since I didn’t get any service at all, I asked for a refund from the previous total tech package. Waited another 35 minutes before the lady refunded me 5.20. Wow! What a great way to treat a loyal customer. There’s a lot more to my story, I just started some facts. The fact is, if you value my business and value my opinion of your business, refund me all of the money for the total tech package and I’ll refrain from bashing your company on all social media platforms, BBB, Yelp, facebook etc. the refund will be less costly than the money you’ll lose in the long run. You’ll probably see me at your store again spending money. That’s your choice.

The program is fine. I usually don't purchase memberships for tech, but because I was purchasing an open box item it provides me the warranty coverage.

This membership is a great value . Especially if you are planning to purchase more items as it will protect them as well. Has many perks for have it as well.

If you plan on numerous purchases year in and year out this plan is perfect. However, if you make purchases irregularly year to year you might want to just purchase a warranty for the item(s) you are purchasing.

i was a bit hesitant at first about paying an extra $12.00 a month for the Totaltech membership...not anymore!! it has payed for itself x3 after one month. had a few hiccups with my recent tv purchase and they resolved within 3 days of the call i made on it.

Everyone should have this plan. It has been a life saver for me many times. I will continue to renew it every year.

Recently used this when we bought our new tv. Geek squad delivered and set it up, all covered under our total tech plan. Bought the plan when I purchased a new laptop. Didn’t realize I would be using it so soon for a tv too! Worth it!

they say it covers all devices even ones not purchased at Best Buy, but forgot to mention it covers software issues only not hardware issues.

This membership does have a great value if you are planning on doing a lot of business with Best Buy for that 12 month period moving forward.

If you as a buyer are acquiring PC’s, Televisions et al you would be well served to check to see if “Total Tech” may save you $. I saved ~ $300-400 on install money + rcvd extended terms.

I love my Atari! Arcade games! Takes me back to the good old days!! Makes me very happy because them times are long gone and this brings me joy of how things use to be. If you miss then days, get one and I bet you will smile.

So glad we purchased this, they set up our tv and sound bar, took away the old tv, no hastles. Explained how to use the remote with the service we use.

When you want peace of mind you get total tech. It saves money on installation and it automatically gives you protection on your devices. I’m not one to normally buy warranties or memberships. Best Buy has done it right and this is a total value.
