I was in the market for a new MacBook and I was diligently shopping Amazon, B&H Photo, Mac Store, and Best Buy and when I signed up for My Best Buy Total™ membership I got an extra $50 off and free 2 year Applecare included for the price so it was basically paid for plus a bit. Now I can shop for other deals like a printer and black friday Christmas deals coming up.

Good deal generally, but pay close attention to terms because you may be charged for repairs even on new phones. I had an A15 phone that completely quit working after 5 weeks and they wanted to charge me $100 for a repair -- when the phone was only $199 to begin with.

They fixed my comper it needed a battery and they saved me money! My son was starting school i gave him my old but not old computer they cleaned it up and downloaded all my stuff off of it so i didnt haave to by a new one well worth the money!

I really appreciate our Best Buy team taking time to explain the value of this membership. In the last month, I’ve made several separate purchases and added on a warranty for each which exceeded the total the cost for the TotalTech 2yr membership. The manager helped with my return and reapplied the repurchased warranties under this plan which saved a lot of money. Hopefully we wont need it, but if we do it’s great to know all our new products are covered under this plan

Please note: Please don't be confused when you notice that I selected "YES" under "Would you recommend this membership to a friend?" This is because since I have yet to take advantage of the Totaltech coverage, it would be unfair to select "NO". But the reason I purchased the coverage is because of the following... I had to replace my laptop 6 months after purchase. However, once my laptop was replaced, Best Buy canceled my 3 year plan, So, instead of honoring the remaining 2 1/2 years by applying it to the new replacement, I would have to purchased a brand new plan if I still wanted coverage, which would now be the Totaltech plan. So, this means that if I get coverage for the new laptop, then in a 6 month span, I will have now basically purchased TWO plans for ONE laptop. This makes the Geek Squad plan worthless and costly, since the manufacturer's warranty would've covered the cost WITHOUT any additional coverage. Hopefully Best Best can make some adjustments to their replacement policy.

I never thought I would use this and when my salesperson told me about it I was a little hesitant. I was wrong I'm glad he sold me on it. I got more value than the membership price.

Great deal, so far If you know how to use it then you can really get your moneys worth.
