The Totaltech program was outstanding. Unfortunately, the features that set the Totaltech program apart from other similar programs, free delivery, free installation, and free haul-away, are no longer included. Instead, they lowered the price by $20/year but took away the main features that prompted me to purchase the package.

The laptops we got were a excellent deal, really worked very well for my masters, in order to be extra care we took this membership for peace of mind and enjoyed our lapoos

Discounts and extended return period is great. Particularly useful when trying big ticket items. Need varies year by year on rather or not the price is worth it, but no shoot doupt useful. Warranties on my purchases big and small are wonderful for my piece of mind. Haven't needed to use the warranties yet so I'll update on that experience as i go through it

Do not waste your money. I should have known better. But when I went shopping for new appliances I figured what’s the difference where I went to buy them. Well there is a difference. I purchased the total care package so that I would have a hassle free 24 months of warranty on my appliances. Turns out that they charge you to come out and diagnose the problem and if it’s fixable they will decide if it’s covered. So in short they had me pay for 2 years of coverage and now when I have 2 months left of coverage my washing machine stops working. I spend 2 hrs in with total care support. Which was outsourced (no surprise) then they told me they had to charge me. They kept giving me reasons which weren’t actually reasons. Tbh Wu would just say “of course, we agree that should be covered” and then when we got to the point of scheduling they said they can’t even see the appointments till after I pay for the service call. So after hours I said fine. Let’s just set this thing up. They did after all promise me that it would be the last charge and the repairs would all be covered. So I paid. Then they said unfortunately they can’t seem to see any dates on the schedule and that I should wait 48 hrs for them to escalate it to someone who can figure out a way to see if they could get me an appointment. So long story short. The chat and phone number that you will have access to will be incredibly polite and have absolutely zero function or purpose other than to get you to pay for that initial call. And then maybe if you’re lucky someone will reach out within 48 hrs and see if the can get you scheduled. Maybe. Even tho you paid for warranty. And you now paid for a service call I top of your warranty. They lie in the store about what you are getting. And it sounds good. That should have been my first clue. Please don’t give these guys your money. Let Amazon finally put them out of business. It will eventually happen if we just stop Please just stop.

The membership was the best thing i have done. Geek squad excess is unlimited, that alone is worth it but it comes with much more.

I purchased an ASUS laptop for around $1600 from the Best Buy store in College Station, TX. The agent strongly recommended the Best Buy Total Membership, assuring me that it would allow me to price match the laptop if the price dropped — which sounded great. However, key information was hidden from me during the purchase: Price Match Exclusion for Clearance Items: When the laptop price dropped by about $150, I called to get a price match refund. I was told the laptop was on clearance, and therefore excluded from price matching. This was never mentioned at the store. 60-Day Limit on Price Matching: I also later found out that the price matching benefit is only valid for 60 days — not for the full year of the membership. Again, the agent did not disclose this at the time of sale. When I asked customer service why these critical limitations weren't explained before purchase, I was simply told I should have "read the website." This felt like a way to shift the blame onto the customer rather than acknowledging that the store agent omitted key facts. In short, I feel misled — as if I was only told the appealing parts of the membership and the crucial restrictions were intentionally left out. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like I was sold something under false pretenses. I don’t feel confident about renewing this membership or trusting recommendations from in-store agents in the future

Simply put it is well worth the money if you use some of the many benefits. I recently had TV delivery, installation and the movement of the large TV I was replacing to another room. Very professional. Soon to replace my washer and dryer which will include delivery, hookup and removal of the old washer, dryer. (Also extended warranties on all items is a big plus) Well worth it in my opinion!

It gives great discounts on certain days (sometimes even up to 65% Off!) It can also allow you to receive discounts on repairs or replacements!

Love this membership! Have had it for a long time and I think it comes with a great offer and worth the value!

I have had this membership protection for years now. It includes Geek Squad, which is very helpful because when things go wrong with my laptop, i don't know what to do. It's like insurance for my laptop, totally worth rhe price.

The Totaltech membership was a great deal the year I purchased all my appliances from Best Buy. Beside the best prices from Best Buy, the Totaltech gave me worry-free satisfaction that my appliances would be deliveried and installed properly and maintained, if needed. The price of the Totaltech membership was a fraction for how many services I received and how much money I saved. Thanks, Totaltech!!

Good membership. Wish it covered putting up big TV's

I mean its nice to have but unfortunately its a little pricey.

The membership is a real value. I have access to Geek Squad when needed. They have already been very helpful since I was unfamiliar with Windows 11.

The team at best buy that walked me through the selections of laptops that was best suited for me were a great help, 8 months now using my laptop and i couldn't be more happier with my decision.

I’m getting my moneys worth out of this membership. All of my items fall up under protection plans upon purchasing. The membership also allowed for free inhome measurements for appliance installs
