I have used Geek Squad several times over the years to repair our computers, do backups after haard drive crashes, etc. And now the Totaltech membership offers extra benefits, such as discounts on appliance/product installations. I used that discount when we bought a gas cooktop earlier this year. It offers great peace of mind to have Best Buy Totaltech as another resource.

Absolutely worth having. I bring my laptop to the store and they fix it, Yes you need an appointment, but rarely have I needed to go far to get it fixed the same day. Most of the time the techs can fix while I wait. Sometimes it has to be sent out. But still, someone fixes the problem asap. This is so important for a small biz.

Having a reliable source when I have had computer issues or questions has made my life less stressful. So happy I purchases this

The membership is well worth it. Membership price is great regarding the wonderful offers we receive as members. As a college student, i’m super appreciative. I am very happy to be a best by member and plan to continue in the future.

The main computer builder that built my rtx 4080 just recently did an amazing job the first time i went there was to have my rtx 3070 ti cleaned out because my PC was super dusty and dirty and he put a lot of elbow grease in cleaning it and I’m overly satisfied with this guy i totally forgot his name but as long as he’s there I’ll always be bringing my pc’s directly to him he’s just that guy

This is the good: - customer service is 10/10 on this - you get people ready to help at all times -discounts! i get discounts and what not plus offers! thats great! -ease of mind when it comes to tech... knowing that everything is covered -everything i buy gets added to the plan. how cool to not worry about adding protection to everything -apple warranty applecare is included for the ipads and cellphone for 2 years thats a great savings! -computer diagnosis from home -antivirus security included cons -the representatives don't seem to be too knowledgeable about it. i say this because they didn't add applecare to my ipad eventhought I have the new totaltech. Its been a strange process but i understand that they are launching this new program so its still in testing mode. -not sure about the difference with geeksquad. I thought this insurance would replace it but apparantly it doesn't? Geeksquad still has some benefits that this one doesn't? i don't fully understand and wish they could explain this better.

It’s great as long as you using it and buying things at Best Buy except that they no longer cover installation with it so it might not be worth it if you can’t install it yourself.

This membership is really an awesome value. I buy anything I can at best buy because they price match and then I have protection plans on all of my products. Unlimited Greek squad is a great perk but I especially like the member only prices for different items. It might seem like a lot up front but it is totally worth it!

I highly recommend this plan! It’s great peace of mind to have the extra support of Geek squad for any questions. Definitely worth the price and the sales associates did a great job explaining and helping us feel comfortable with the purchase.

Well worth the money, with the protection plan and free servicing of products, saves me a lot of money.

Membership has advantages, but this was definatly an unnecessary 'upsell'. I could have / should have gotten most of the services I will use on this paid membership for free based on my equipment purchases and specials at the time.
