Membership is a excellent deal for all purchased items. Membership offers protection for all items purchased and unlimited geek squad provides great discounts price. The best part is advanced notice on great early "Members only" discounts. Members should always make sure all purchased items are covered.

Have been using this membership for a few years and I love it. It’s expensive but I like the remote service when I have a computer problem or download new software.

Deceptive sales wording. "2 year” Apple Care and Total Membership is the claim from salespeople. It is not. (“Up to two years” as stated on actual written form.) It is a YEARLY paid membership. When you buy this as I did with an open box MacBook Pro, I was told it was two years of coverage. This is not correct. In fact, it is a lie. Nothing else to call it. When you buy this membership they say you are covered for two years. You are not, unless you pay again when the first year is up. Simple logic means you are not paying for and getting 2 yrs of anything at that price. The BB manager I later explained this to kept saying it was two yrs of coverage. I kept saying it is not--unless I pay for it again after the first year. So you buy one year of coverage not two. She would then go over the benefits of things I might buy. I told her, let's not worry about what I might buy, but what I already bought and was told I had 2 yrs of coverage. She kept saying that I do. I finally got her to admit that you are not buying 2 yrs (for $179), but 1 yr of coverage, marketed as 2 yrs. She apologized for the confusion. I was polite but told her it was not confusing--it was flat out deceptive and 2 yrs should never be mentioned. She had nothing to say. Prior to this I had the same conversation with BB support in India or someplace, who had the same line as the manager and salesperson. Meaning they know full well what they are doing, but their legal wording lets them off the hook. I have bought many things there over the years, but I refuse to do business with a company that clearly intends to deceive it’s customers. Needless to say it was canceled and refunded.

I've been a member for over a year now. Makes sense if your buying big ticket items and they also had a nice little members only sale where I picked up a number of Free 3-6 month trials for different platforms like, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple New, YouTubeTV and more. So that was nice.

It's great for the Geek Squad, I would recommend this package for them. If you know that you won't need the Geek squad then you can just go with the regular membership instead. I needed Geek squad to fix different issues with the older laptop and the cost of each repair would have surely cost more than the membership itself.
