I love Best Buy because they have the Best Buys on electronics, computers and printers and more. They also have Geek Squad which helps you to set up and keep your equipment operating well.

I purchased my Totaltech membership because I am NOT tech savy. I love the Geek Squad! They have helped me numerous times with technical issues with my laptop and cell phone. They are very patient and so knowledgeable. I also called and had them come to my home for a problem with my smart tv! I would highly recommend Totaltech membership to everyone!

This membership is how I take full advantage of my Best Buy purchases and deals. I use it more than I expected I would and am grateful I have it at my disposal!

I am extremely disappointed with my totaltech plan. Recently, my laptop stopped working. Since "data backup or transfer" and "level 1 data recovery" is part of my membership, I decided to start with Best Buy. I even removed the hard drive for them. All I wanted was for the data on my computer's hard drive to be transferred to an external hard drive (which I provided them with). Seems simple enough right? Well, a guy working the front (who didn't seem to know what he was doing), walked my hard drive to the back room. They spent about 5 minutes "testing it" and sent it back up and told me the files are "unrecoverable". I left the store and didn't have a good feeling that they actually took the time to try or took me seriously. So I took the hard drive to CPR (cell phone repair) for a 2nd opinion. Within the day they were able to SUCCESSFULY transfer all of my files to the external hard drive. So much for the files being "unrecoverable". I asked the CPR tech if he did anything special to recover the files or what he used to transfer them. He told he didn't have to do anything to recover and used an M.2 enclosure. He actually recommended if I ever needed to do this again in the future, he would recommend getting my own online (since it is cheaper). THAT IS ALL THEY NEEDED TO FIX THE PROBLEM...a simple M.2 enclosure. How best buy couldn't do this transfer is beyond me. A representative from the store actually called yesterday to follow up on the service. I told him about my experience and all he said was "well thank you for this information, we need to check our M.2 to make sure it is functioning properly". Well... that doesn't help the $140 I had to spend at CPR for services that BEST BUY should've been able to provide under my totaltech. So much for paying $200 a year. I am in the medical field and can't imagine saying to a patient, "oh sorry, I guess my equipment didn't function properly". The entire experience made me feel like I was being blown off, and turns out I was right, that it was a simple fix. Obviously I will not be renewing if they can't even perform a simple data transfer. I've spent thousands of dollars at best buy and will be purchasing tech elsewhere moving forward

A necessity for a non-tech person. Use very frequently, especially the on- line Geek Squad

I own a HP laptop, a Apple desktop, an iPhone, an Amazon tablet, and a thing that extends the blue tooth reach of the in home network. I'm told all of these are covered by my membership. I've used their inhouse service a minimum of two times and once connected via the phone. And, everything was covered and I didn't need to speak techie in order to explain my issues. Total Tech protection plan is a life saver. Benefits are extremely good and im hooked.

This membership is of real value. The peace of mind that it gives me that we have the Geek Squad to help with any issues we may have is really worth it!

It seems a little expensive at first but when you factor in that they take care of all the products you own in the apple ecosystem the value is more than worth it!

I like having the ability to pay over time on products with no interest. Also, there don't seem to be any hidden fees either, which is good, as long as your payments are on time.

I had geeksquad basically rebuild my computer for the price of the membership.

I am so glad I purchased this protection plan as it covers all my Best Buy purchased items and they even cover products not purchased at Best Buy! I like that it automatically covers my best buy purchased items and I am able to get discounts on items because I have this membership. Highly recommend!
