    Actually useful if you own a lot of tech

    I wasn’t sure if My Best Buy Total would be worth it at first, but it ended up being more helpful than I expected. The biggest thing for me is not having to stress about protection on my devices. Electronics are expensive, and knowing repairs or issues are easier to deal with gives peace of mind. I’ve also used the tech support, and it saved me time instead of trying to figure everything out myself. It’s probably not necessary if you only buy something once in a while, but if you have multiple devices like headphones, a laptop, or gaming stuff, it makes more sense. Overall, I like the convenience and the feeling that my stuff is covered.

    Totally impressed and not

    I love being able to get the work I need done on my computers without being overcharged. I do however, have issue with buying a new Mac and being told I could not get the 20 minute instructional on the Mac when I was picking up a computer that had a hard drive erased, another that was to have its drive moved to the Mac, and picking up the Mac (that did not have set up the apps I requested) that was not ready. Only to be told I had to set up another appointment when an in-person agent originally set up the appointment knew my situation and assured me I would be given a 20 minute lesson on the Mac. One agent tried to be as helpful as possible as the other was trying to rid of me. In the end I was asked if we were I was good (my first Mac). I asked how to shut it off. That should be at the basic of instruction. Just because they know does not mean I know. Most of the techs were wonderful, but one ruined my experience. When I asked how to shut it off, I think she realized I was clueless and really needed help. Instead I found a place on my Mac that walks me through some of the basic issues and have reached out to friends or You Tube for other concerns. Something that could have been explained by the techs in a 20 minute walk through. After spending that much money and telling them my fears of transitioning to a Mac from a PC, they should have been more understanding.

    The Best Buy yearly membership has been worth it for me. The perks add up fast, especially the member pricing, extra savings, and the convenience of easier support when I need it. I buy a decent amount of tech each year, so having ongoing benefits makes the purchases feel like a better value instead of just paying full price every time.     I recently visited the Best Buy in Newport News and had an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. I purchased a flash drive along with a Best Buy Membership, and the process was seamless. The employees ensured I understood all the membership benefits and even offered tips on maximizing my purchase. The store was well-organized and easy to navigate, making it simple to find exactly what I needed. Checkout was quick, and the customer service truly exceeded my expectations.     I've had this membership for a number of years & feel it's a good product. I had an old computer & this came in handy, as each year some part in the computer tower had to be replaced. This past fall I was finally able to replace my computer but had to keep this membership to have the 24-month protection on my new purchase, Unless something goes horribly wrong with my new, name brand computer, this is an expensive 2-year warranty (I'll have to renew it again next year for the 2nd year of the warranty).

    My best total membership let's get down to it! One of the best services you could ever get not to mention when you purchased computer components or anything these guys a geek squad will take care of you! I recommend the service to anyone and everyone, it's great to have if you're a computer nerd and are having issues with new parts these guys will fix it build it whatever you need it's available Don't pass up the service it's worth every penny!

    I love the Best Buy Total™ membership - I go to the Geek Squad in Frisco, Texas for over 6 years - the team is awesome, and are very customer focused. They'll walk-me-through what they did and why when I had to leave my Laptop with them because I was unable to resolve, or it was a software glitch.. OR if it's a quick fix, they walk me thought the fix... I like them better than some of the Actual Computer Techs I have had to work with and DID NOT resolve my issue but Geek Squad Did -- They are GREAT!!!

    I didn’t get this membership just for discounts. I got it for peace of mind. What surprised me the most is how much the membership has actually saved me time, not just money. A few months ago, one of my devices started acting up right in the middle of a deadline. I walked into Best Buy expecting a long wait, but being a Total member changed the entire experience. I was helped immediately, they diagnosed the issue on the spot, and I left the store feeling like I had my own tech team. The part I appreciate most is the consistency. Every time I think I’ve already gotten my “value” out of the membership, something else happens . a price drop refund, a free service I didn’t know I had, or a perk that makes a purchase easier. It feels like the membership works in the background for me even when I’m not thinking about it. It’s rare that something you pay for actually lowers your stress, but this one does. That’s why I keep it.

    So far, and I've only been a Total Member for less than 6 weeks (became a member because my daughter had do send her computer out for service), and it has saved me $$! As well as the headache of setting up my new computer for me, and the deciding factor of purchasing it was because I had already become a member, and it is a freebie perk. My phone is old, as well, so now I'm thinking of a new one . . . hmmmmmm. I love the convenience and the savings! The only reason that I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is because, even with an appointment, it's hard to get anyone's attention. But when they're there, they're great!

    So far so good! Highly recommend it! Lets face it, you buy an Apple product at the Apple Store, and you have to pay extra for an extended warranty. It makes a lot of sense to buy at Best Buy with this membership. ALSO, we all have Bose Noise cancelling headsets. We bought a new one at Best Buy, and a few months later, it had some issues. We brought it back to the story, no questions asked (other than the obvious) and it was replaced on the spot. It is well worth it, and has already paid for itself.

    MY BEST BUY location is on Caroline Street in Atlanta. This is the BEST customer service, from the manager, the staff, and esp. the GEEK SQUAD. Always welcoming, friendly, and most important, the fact that they are always helpful to the point of making me happy I came into the store. There are some really great people here who believer in good service. Special shout to Msl Irene in the appliance department. Have bought from here forever and will continue to do so.     In my opinion, the My Best Buy Total service plan is a fairer and much better value than my HVAC and plumbing service plan from a different company. Best Buy gives you more bang for your buck with repair expenses and product replacement guarantees. And you don't have to jump through hoops to get someone to return to finish a job or get a product replaced that gives out prematurely. I buy everything that I can at Best Buy because of their product selection, quality, and for the money saving service options that they provide!

    My Best Buy Total is genuinely useful if you actually buy tech regularly. The extended warranty and protection plans are the real value here. I have already saved money on repairs and replacements that would have cost more than the membership itself. Geek Squad support is convenient and removes a lot of friction when something goes wrong. That said, this membership is not magic. If you rarely buy electronics or only shop once a year, it is probably not worth it. Some benefits feel redundant and Best Buy could be clearer about what is truly included versus what sounds better on paper.

    I like the 1x1 attention you receive with making an appointment when working with the Geek Squad. They are attentive to your special needs, and they work to make you feel that you are a priority.     If you are someone who regularly purchases devices of any kind, this is the way to go. The membership typically pays for itself several times over. I paid for it in January and needed a diagnostic on a device. With them diagnosing and installing, and me just needing to purchase the part, it relieved so much stress and they were so knowledgeable, communicative, and the overall efficacy of the program is top tier ! I’ve been a best buy total tech member for 4+ years now and will be for life

    I’ve had a great experience with Best Buy membership, the benefits really value, especially if you shop there more than once or twice a year. The extended warranty protection, plan and access to members only deal gives real peace of mind went by electronics. I also appreciate the convenience fast shipping easy return and helpful customer service. When I needed to support, the process was simple and stress-free. The member pricing and discount has already saved me money which helps offset the cost of the membership overall the Best Buy membership is a smart investment if you buy electronics appliances or tech accessories.
