When I had it, it was great. Then one day there was a laspe because of a credit card issue. Despite showing up in person at a store to take care of it before it lasped and being told it was all fine, best buy cancelled my membership. After getting emails for about two dozen protection plan cancellations, I immediately re-upped the membership in person at my local best buy. Even after a call to HQ, I lost all my protection plans and they could not be reestablished! I cannot recommend a bestbuy membership if they can take away protection plans whenever they want and cant reinstate after their error was fixed. Ive decided to shop elsewhere especially for big ticket items.

My granddaughter had problems with her computer after a year. She called in and the customer service representative stayed on the line with her until she was able to make the necessary changes to her computer. I was very pleased with the results. The instore geek squad was very helpful as well.

This membership’s real value stems from the customer service support and warranty program. I’ve found the discounts to be uncompetitive and regularly still require price matches through Amazon even after the Total membership discount is applied to the purchase.

This subscription has saved me $2k in the last year alone it's worth every penny. For the price of one extended warranty all your purchases are covered.

Amazing, it's a must have if you are getting all your electronics from best buy it's a blessing for your electronics any repair or upgrade and special prices for me. My kids I pad screen broke they fix it with a very small amount $. So it's really good deal.

This membership tops it all and is top notch. Well worth the money if you are planing on getting any new appliances or big TV’s to be hung because this membership includes free instillation. I’ve bought a dishwasher, cooktop and plan to buy a TV. Which was all delivered free and installed for free. That paid for the membership plus some!

I asked a day or two after I agreed to a membership I deselected the order It's obviously not a product to return but I believe I've tried to cancel the order a couple of more times since then, but for some reason it has been persistently on my account and I'm sure I'm going to get billed for it I don't even know how much it cost. Nonetheless I just wanted to report that. You can't cancel that easily apparently if you change your mind within a day or two of joining the membership aspect of Best Buy.

I felt thia was the best option for me and my purchase.

If you have a glitchy device or MULTIPLE devices… get this. The first time I came my diagnostic and repair total was over $200. The member is like $190. I did the membership thinking I wouldn’t use it again but I’ve used it two more times already for different devices. The value is CRAZY. Get this!

Total tech has been more than worth it. I had a TV mounted, sync lights put on the tv, and 3 ring cameras installed all for free. Additionally we upgraded our appliances last year and got them delivered installed and the all of the old appliances hauled away. That alone was worth it and of course the protection is a nice security blanket as well

Great value for this membership. The included protection plans and tech support are always good to have just in case.

So, i have been asked if the $180/yr was worth it and i can say yes it has been. Already saved almost $100 in a month and the long term benefits of additional warranty coverage on sone items will surely pay off sicidends in the future.

I found this to be very helpful. I use it quite frequently.
