The initial [physical] installation was very poorly done. It rendered the products almost useless. I called made 2 appointments for it for tech people to correct it. I waited home twice for half a day. The first time someone called to cancel was about five hours of waiting. The second time no one called and no one came. I called them when no one showed up and cancelled this useless contract. Losing almost all the value of the contract.

Purchased total tech in addition to some home security equipment, hoping to use the former to install the latter. Apparently, in order to connect a current purchase with a concomitant Total Tech purchase, one has to schedule the installation at the time of online purchase -- not something made clear in the directions.

We paid 200.00 and that's only for software issues. Will not be renewing and we will never pay for this service again. Will not let me leave a one star!!

Only bought my TV at Best Buy because they would install it for free if I purchased TotalTech. DId this in Nov. to make sure I would have tv installed before Christmas. Three times they did not show up to install. Meanwhile, customer service kept saying they are on their way. (They can not communicate internally with installers, I finally learned.) Had to pay someone else to install it the day before Christmas. Numerous calls to customer service/total tech that ended with unfullfilled promises and dropped calls after being on hold for a long time--I was repeatedly told if call drops, we will call you back. No one ever did. I was told a refund was forthcoming, a gift card, etc -- neither happened. I do not recommend Best Buy because their internal customer service processes actually make the situation worse. I also asked to speak to a manager, and the CS rep kept saying he is right here, but refused to let me talk to him. Huh?
