This membership indescribable leaves me with the discounts - which didn’t even realize was there - when I entered into membership, also Geek Squad is there fir all my techs needs even advice on purchases!

Great value . Geek squad is prompt and efficient with set up. They are very helpful and knowledgable when explaining the use of any new eqipment. In store , on the phone or in person they troubleshoot any problem I have encountered.

I had no idea that it included the 2 year warranty on the products I buy. I always pay for the extended warranty and to have a service that covers my products and offer additional discounts, I am sold. I wish I became a member sooner.

Love having the total tech. I run a photography business and love knowing if I have any issues with my laptop the geek squad is there to help. I also just purchased a car stereo for my son. This offers free installation.

The techs with heavy foreign accent are hard to understand. Some problems the techs could not understand. Had windows 11 installed. Some of my apps would not work so I had windows 10 installed. Apps that worked before would not work after windows 10 was reinstalled. those apps worked with the original windows 10. Techs could not fix it. Now under new rules the customer is charged additional for each service

TLDR sentence: Just reach out to trusted local businesses to have your support and setup needs met. -- I heard from a friend Totaltech service is worth it; they had purchased multiple appliances in a short time period and the setup for them were all covered under one Totaltech plan. In my case, I purchased Totaltech specifically for a TV mounting and figured any other services I received over the year would be a bonus. The tech ghosted the appointment allegedly due to a bad phone number, although no one could explain how I was getting text updates for the appointment if they had a bad phone number. Everything after that point was a nightmare. I was hung up on multiple times by the customer service phone support. The chat support outright lied about escalating the issue. They also don't save or send chat transcripts (how convenient!). Twitter support was excellent. At the end of the day, I requested a refund on the purchase and reached out to a local business that performed a great job with same-day service and less cost. With Totaltech, I made an appointment a full week (minimum!) in advance where they didn't do the job and the customer service was crap. You might believe a company like Best Buy will handle your service better than "the little guy". I submit the opposite is true; a trusted local professional is more likely to treat your time with respect and will display a greater level of accountability for their work and service.

Being part of the total members has been great. You are able to receive special discounts or offers. The most important thing is that you have all the products under the membership protected and with free installation.

I am anything but a techie! Amoung my senior friends I may know more then them but what i do know is my limits and I don't want to spend hours or days stuck when I can go to an expert and get it fixed quickly and painlessly.

Endless tech support and installation for one price yearly, this is a smart move when anything you cant fix goes wrong, and it gives you a longer warranty on all yoir gadgets bought while your subscription is active

This membership was a great deal as I’ve taken computers in there to have rebuilt with the pieces I’ve gotten from Best Buy and knowing that they would stand behind them just makes me happy

TotalTech membership and the peace of mind it gives you is essential as a parent. It provides insurance about my kids device.

I didn't know a couple of years ago how great this membership was going to be. My husband and I are not techies and this has been a big help for us. We will keep renewing!
