    Comes in too handy. I dont know how i would keep going without it. If you like tech and want to save money this is for you. If you are not knowledgeable about electronics this is also for you because it includes unlimited access to geek squad and youll be worry free about all you electronics.

    I love having this all in one membership! I’ve used it for several computers in my home, and love the built in protection that comes with it. I know it seems a bit pricey, but everything that’s included with it is absolutely worth it. I renew every year and haven’t been disappointed yet.

    I bought this service when I had my PC in for repair and saved some money at that time. I have continued to buy more BB products that are automatically covered - plus getting rewards $! It’s been worth the investment.

    The discounts on the Geek Squad services are nice but the real Holy Grail benefit is the 60 Day Return policy. Having those extra days can really make or break it when testing some hardware. Also, if you dont wish to have it the full year, I do believe you can cancel and get a refund of the remaining amount.

    MEMBERSHIP IN VESTAL NY. $ THROWN AWAY

    Purchased an HP Laptop in December 2023 at the Vestal NY Best Buy Location. At that time I also purchased the most expensive best buy Total Buy membership plan (Geek Squad) With tax this plan was $194.39. Within 6 months of purchasing this new Laptop my charger went bad and needed to be replaced. Brought it to the store and they ordered a new one for me that was to be covered under this plan. This would be shipped to my house, but in the mean time I had to purchase an off brand charger from the same BestBuy store because they did not have one in house. Once I received the new one I was to bring the one I purchased from store and they would reimbursement for the cost. A week later I get an email from BestBuy saying HP can not replace that charger on a 6 month old Laptop. So back to store with this email and BestBuy in Vestal NY said they most have ordered the the incorrect charger even though I brought the bad HP charger with me to the store so they can use the part and serial # to order the correct part. So ordered it again and same thing happened. At this point I am on my third trip to this store. The final outcome was yes your $200 BestBuy Total membership does pay for this (BUT) because BestBuy and HP could not find the correct replacement part for me, (IT) was on me to pay for an off brand charger myself and Vestal BestBuy would not reimburse the cost of the charger. (Apparently its in the fine print). Here is something that is not in the fine print. (DON'T PURCHASE THEIR PLANS). In my opinion it's $ thrown away. Here is the other thing, over the years I have given them many thousands or dollars in previous purchased. Did not seem to resonate with the Vestal BestBuy management or the Geek Squad. I guess they forgot (Staples) is just down the street from them.

    Get this if making a lot of BestBuy purchases

    The Totaltech membership more than paid for itself when purchasing 2 tvs with wall mounting installation included, which could have cost about $400. And the extended return period also comes in very handy as well. And also the free 2yrs Apple Care with Apple product purchases

    I appreciate the geek squad support, especially useful for when transferring data to new devices. However, the cost for getting this comes too close to the cost for extending the warranties on your devices. If the cost was lowered by even 30$, it would be an immediate five stars.

    Just joined a couple months ago and so far it's great! Any problems with my tablet or if I don't understand something I can bring it in and everyone's helpful. Also I get dibs on first deals and coupons that are going around.

    I had to buy and build a PC with custom configurations. This is the best choice to build the PC with minimal intervention. The GG squad helped in finalizing the specs. Though it was delayed by few days during the thanksgiving holidays, BestBuy provided the best option.

    I really appreciate this option. There are perks having this membership. I get my laptop looked at and get warranty for the devices I’ve purchased. So far I’ve bought 5 electronics, earbuds, headphones, a PS5. The free warranty for a year has definitely helped!

    I was absolutely distraught when the camera that I bought over $1000 was never delivered to me despite it saying delivered. When I looked at the pic of the delivered item it was also shady, no proper background of the surrounding. I thought geek squad, fedex or UPS did the delivery. It was “DoorDash” driver who stole my item. They refunded me but I did not have the item for the special gift in time, ended up buying from someone else. Best Buy did nothing for me. Instead they charged me $179 membership for a year.. and for what? Total disappointment.

    24 months of protection, tech support and extrnded return / price match guarantee all for the price of one to two protection plans…. Lots of people hate it, but I love it, piece of mind with extended return options is all i needed and get it offers much more!
