This membership was really helpful. It covers lots of things as in setting up you laptop etc. Providing technical support and also covers accidental damages. My windows software crashed and they installed the latest version for free and gave my laptop a free update. It is really helpful.

I wanted the membership for peace of mind for my laptop purchase but it's turned out to be very useful in other ways as well. I've bought several other expensive items because I knew I would get rewards, free delivery and installation, and haul-away. They knew what they were doing when they created this plan :-)

I originally purchased the membership due to issues with my laptop which this membership would cover. The peace of mind knowing I can bring in any electronics that may need a tune up is a relief as technology becomes more advanced. The membership pays for itself by way of savings.

I got this stupid membership to save money on a purchase and get apple care for a product. Later, I tried to use it to get help on a replacement. You would think if you were a paying top tier member that maybe, just maybe, trying to contact these people wouldn't be an impossible time consuming nightmare... wrong! There is no way to directly call a store. There is no way to escape the blistering irritation of the neverending useless phone tree. Chat support is foreign and seems to be simultaneously helping 1,000 other people. I regret buying this membership and I regret even buying from best buy. They might as well hang a sign that says, 'we have no interest in helping you and could not care any less about how much of your time we waste'. If they respected customers even .00001% they would not make it this difficult to actually be a customer. They want your money, after that, don't you dare expect a second of their time or consideration.

I love the Best Buy total tech membership. It is complete piece of mind for equipment and products that I buy that are costly. I never want to be in a situation where just have no one to work out the problem or replace the item.

Total tech is a useful service with understanding yet helpful members of the community who ban together to help fix the issues and or problems that come your way. If your device needs replaced or fixed you can count on the knowledge and experience of these individuals to be there and take care of the issue!

Go ahead and buy the membership if you're planning on having anything installed within a year. I bought it for a dishwasher installation, then took advantage of it to have the Geek Squad deliver and install a 75" TV as well. I was happy to not have to mess with mounting a TV that size.

I saved alot of money with the membership on just buying a dishwasher, got free delivery and disposal of old one. They sent out a plumber and electrician to install new one for under $200
