It’s more money than the old Geek Squad protection, but you do get more for your money. At $180 a year it’s geared towards their best customers who spend cash. The deals are great delivered daily to your mailbox. Best Buy takes care of their good customers but the more you buy the better the value.

I received the membership when I needed to buy a new TV. I had it for a year and was able to take advantage of deals offered through the membership and also purchased a stove during this period. so I did benefit from the membership for the year. If you buy a lot from BEST BUY it's worth it.

It was worth it , had to get my computer repaired … would have cost the same and now I renew every year and get discounts / use the total tech on at least 2 products a year

They've changed their policy now so if I need a Geek Squad to come help me with my computer in home. I have to pay more. It isn't that much more but it makes me feel sad.
