I dropped the total tech because they didn’t seem to have it together. I got several texts asking me to schedule or reschedule my delivery and install date when it was already scheduled in the beginning. Then on install day the fridge guy couldn’t get it to start cooling. He called a couple of people who couldn’t help him either. I looked on YouTube and found a person who had a video showing how to get the fridge out of demo mode and to start cooling. I showed it to the installer who used it to fix the issue. He was a very nice guy, but I basically did my own setup. On my dishwasher appliance install, the contractor was great. The sales person however didn’t know to tell me that there might be pipe differences when replacing a 15 Year old dishwasher with todays new installs. Fortunately the contractor was able to get more plumbing supplies locally and he actually came back after his next customer to fix it. If not, I would’ve had to reschedule for another month and have a plumber come out to change the connection at more expense. Plumbers are close to $300/hr. Almost a third of the dishwasher cost. After all of that, I didn’t think TotalTech was worth it. The other reason is that I couldn’t get a good explanation about the second year of coverage. Is there a cost involved for that year, or does the original charge include coverage for that year? The $80 call out charge seemed excessive also. So different than other appliance contracts. It seems to operate more like a Home maintenance contract that doesn’t cover the whole house.

This has been a great value for me because I just bought appliances. I basically got 2 year warranties on everything I bought for free. The membership was kind of free as well because it gave me a discount on my purchase. Im excited for the drops feature and Black Friday sales.

AT first I balked at spending $200 for tech support, but as life would have it, I really needed their help with 2 of my laptops, so it really paid off having the Total Tech, and I suppose it's good marketing for them because now I think first about buying my new gizmo from BB instead of shopping around.

For the yearly fee I would like all products to stay on indefinitely. Good idea but the use of the warranty only last approximately 3 years. So if you have not brought any new products the warranty automatically renews and you’ll be paying for nothing. Would only recommend if you can keep use of it

Honestly was sckeptical at first like anyone else would be. But I will say all the deals and discounts ya get I would 100 percent reccomend for those that are looking for some real good deals and ya get free 1 day shipping on some things and tbh I was honestly pleasantly surprised by that
