Membership is very useful for special events. Many items are selling out minutes after being in stock so this is a must-have.

$200 to have your unit delivered, installed and all your tech covered….no brainer. BBY continues to innovate to lead the industry.

BEWARE OF TOTAL TECH. We had over 20 purchases covered with total tech and they intentionally charged the wrong credit card so our membership would lapse and we lost all our coverage. DO NOT BUY!

What a joke. I was fooled into purchasing this service in order to purchase electronics that were "Only available to TotalTech members." After going through, and purchasing this membership I still did not have access to purchase the electronics, and then was told that it was actually not available, but how "lucky" I was to have purchased a service I can't even use. When support was contacted I was told that the membership could not be canceled.

Best Buy removed their Elite and Elite Plus which was free membership to loyal reoccurring customers. Membership was free and if you had Elite Plus (you spent $3500/year) you received the 60 day return policy. Their "great" money making policy is now $200/month for the 60 day return policy. It doesn't matter if you're a customer that spends thousands a year at bestbuy. They want more out of you and now require $200/year while stripping the status for their regular customers. So much for being grateful to loyal customers. There's just no perks to being a loyal best buy customer now. I'll take my business elsewhere or just shop directly with vendors. Ridiculous marketing move.

Total tech is the way to go for answering any problem! All the new technology can get so confusing!

Absolutely terrible. Impossible to talk to a real person who can help you. You just get passed around from department to department.

Its been a complete nightmare and i feel like i was ripped-off by buy purchasing the warranty. My tv started going out so i contacted the geek squad,they came out and i was approved for an exchange. The repair guy was put on hold by the company he works for so he left. Before leaving i was told he'd contact me and he never did. I finally called him and he sent me an order number for me to do his job. I finally talked to someone after 2 days and was told id receive my tv today. No tv today after taking off today and waiting. On top of that ,the same poor repair man had no clue about the tv today because him and his office are to incompetent to communicate.stay away from best buy and the geek squad. There has to be better away. 2 weeks with no tv,dealing with rude unprofessional people and still no tv.

No brainer must have especially if you plan on getting appliances or equipment installed
