When I contacted Best Buy Total Tech, the girl arranged for a Sunday Nov 27 appointment between 12 and 4pm to assess the problem with my dishwasher. When there was a no show, I checked the confirmation notice and the appointment had been changed to Dec 1, without contacting me. I called to find out why and got no satisfaction. I kept the Dec 1 appointment and again, NO SHOW. When I called again, they were reluctant to allow me to speak to the supervisor. When he finally got on the call, the earliest he could arrange for repair was 12-21-2022, with no credit for all the aggravation. I cancelled my total-tech membership because to the total lack of customer communications and disregard for the inconvenience they caused.

This membership is not worth it at all if you are someone that hardly buys things from BestBuy I would not recommend it due to the membership only covering you for only 1-year warranty workers say it covers you for two years, but in reality, you're only covered for an up to two years as long as you have the warranty active for another year meaning you just paid $400 for two years of warranty when you can you buy the extended warranty for 2 years on anything else for less unless you frequently buy tech consistently from bestbuy and no where else then it makes since but if your the majority of people that go in here and there it's not for you especially if your buys a computer for your son or daughter for school and they say it covers everything not worth it just buy the apple care for the 199 that actually covers you for 3 years on your laptop or iMac or buy the other insurance and when it comes to an antivirus just buy it separately like webroot or trenmicro they do the full cleaning for you.

This so-called "Totaltech membership" is a joke and an absolute waste of time and money. After several years of automatic renewals I am finally cancelling. I rarely ever need computer support, but when I do, Geek Squad fails nearly every time. The "intake" process is just ridiculous when you're chatting with some clown, as I did a few minutes ago, on the other end who keeps repeating the same questions and asks what the latest time an "agent" can call after providing a waiting time of 50-60 minutes. So, if an "agent" is going to help me around 6:30pm, what's the need for an "agent" to call me 9pm, 12am or 3am, which were the times this clown indicated in this last chat. To further add insult t injury, this was my 3rd attempt within 1 hour to get help only to be disconnected for the 3rd time. And this is also the ususal result of my requests for help. Horrible service is what these clowns specialize in. NO MORE FOR ME!

I very sincerely regret purchasing this membership. I bought it primarily because I wanted some help changing out some hard drives in computers. I bought it because I didn't want to screw up the process and I could see that Best Buy is an authorized Apple service provider. But I discovered upon going in to have them do that service (and nowhere in the documentation for the service) that actually they will not service Apple computers, only Apple phones. So I spent $200 for the privilege of having Best Buy tell me multiple times that they will not help me with the services I wanted.

The lady I was with didn't actually fix what I needed her too, she just installed virus protection, said give me a sec while I work on your audio, then she just left the whole thing. I was actually yelling on the phone, but know one was answering as she left the phone. I just ended the call at that point. The only reason I'm giving two starts is because the other times people were helpful.

If you are inept and can not install your own GPU then buy this Membership with it, but you would be better off buying a system from a Builder. You don't need a membership to get 2 year warranty on your GPU. All GPU vendors give 2 year warranty, and most give a 3 year warranty. This is worthless. I am taking my business elsewhere. Goodbye BestBuy. Your not gouging me for a membership that I don't need just to purchase a GPU! Goodbye forever. Cutting up my Best Buy card NOW!

Best thing On Best Buy for now Great and useful plus good

I'm very upset that Bestbuy is charging for features that used to be free as an Elite Reward Zone Member. I have spent 10s of thousands of dollars yearly at best buy, from person to business. Removing the perks we used to have, the extra rewards percentages.. its a money grab in a world with high inflation.. They no longer have out best interests in mind.

The Total Tech side of BestBuys is great, but do use Geek Squad if referred past in-store. I did and got taken for $$$. This is my experience!
