I got online and my email and phone number is correct and card not expired. Yet when we needed a computer repaired we were informed that the total tech was expired.

The day comes and when i got there they told me they don't change batteries on laptops. Oh and i had my own new battery they didn't even check my laptop. What a waste ....

So they are going to resend it again standard shipping. Terrible customer service. Can’t believe they think this is acceptable. No one seems yo care that is why my rating is low. Thanks for nothing.

As soon as it was purchased I was able to see that they were sold out. Waste of money you can only cancel by calling and being out on hold for hours it’s ridiculous

I called support and was transferred to 5 different agents who told me it was active but it wasnt reflecting in my account. Each agent made me hold at least 4 minutes each.

Geek squad could not fix the issue with my laptop, and I have not purchased anything from Best Buy in over a year now. I told the rep to cancel the membership back when I made them give me a refund for an external drive I purchased and later returned because they couldn't fix the issue. After asking them to cancel the membership, they still charged me for another year.

Depending on the issue it was having at the time the agent can try to best identify it and let you know if it is something they are able to resolve. While not all issues are fixable the Totaltech membership does cover other items like virus removals, tune ups, and other software repairs for computers and has 24/7 support available as well as standard installation on new hardware so we can still assist with other items or other pieces of tech. They would open the ticket and then a couple of months later cancel it, and when I would go in they didn't know why they cancelled it. I did this twice before just giving up on them.
