I own two desktops and two laptops and Total Protection has saved me so much money. I realized I needed Total Protection a few years ago when I paid almost $100.00 plus for a pc tune-up. But even more than that, I didn't realize all the extra benefits that go along with it!

EVERYONE needs to buy this program!!!

I'm in my late 60's and my late husband took care of all of our computer problems. Well I was so happy to just call the Geek Squad to come out and service my laptop. I had really screwed it up. Somehow disconnected my tablet and my phone didn't synch anymore to my computer. Pathetic... Than I remembered I had purchased this policy. Called, got an appt and it was smooth sailing. Best Buy sent me reminder emails, what the safety protocal the technician would be wearing, mask, booties, gloves and how he would sanitize my computer. I really cleaned my office before he arrived. I forgot we were in a pandemic. The technician called 2x's before he arrived. I had my list of problems and 35 minutes later he had performed a miracle. I will always have this program until I die. I am so happy with this program offered by Best Buy. Thank you. After he left, Best Buy has sent out several followup messages to make sure everthing is still ok. Thanks again.

Upset.

I took our computer December 16th for servicing and they mentioned it might be 2 or so weeks because of Christmas Holidays. Not a problem, I knew that might be an issue. But I called several times and never got responses or any updates. Sadly I had to go in person and speak to someone and they mentioned it was never fixed. The man at geek squad also mentioned he had no clue where the order went and was about to put the computer back on the store floor. I was so upset. He mentioned that we hadnt paid the deductible but we were never told to pay it when we first dropped it off and 3 weeks later find out thats why they hadnt worked on it. When our Mac studio came back it had a huge scratch/dent on it. I asked the man and he said we will make a note but put it under customer issues. It happened when they sent it off. No one is helping. Be careful paying for their plans when they are not getting things fixed.

Best purchase for large high price items

Purchasing total tech is one of the best purchases especially when purchasing mobile devices,TV's or gaming hardware. It covers everything that you would have to buy individual insurance for.

Renew Membership

The manager of the store gave me the # to support for my full refund. I had a VERY bad experience with customer service. NO Tech knowledge at all. Needed to get a new Hard Drive and transfer old one to new one. Bought the new one. Left it there to work on it. Then round and round with the techs who could not load it. Said I needed a bigger one I found out after speaking with the manger that the Geek Squad person who helped me originally was actually a SALES PERSON and not a tech at all. Sold me the wrong hard drive to begin with. They really screwed up big time. Also the one tech that helped me last got frustrated told me I only had a 20 minute appointment. I Was never told that in advance. Said he was gonna move on the the next person in line. That's when I asked for the manager. They seemed to be very shorted handed in that Dept. After a while with her she finally refunded the $$ for new drive. I called the online tech and explained. That the store manager told me to. they needed to pass the info to back support to initiate my full subscription refund. MANY back and forth's phone and email. They returned 24$ saying it was prorated because I had used some of services on the subscription. That was the old one. NOT the brand new subscription. Still can't speak to a manager. Emails only. Still after them! Even asked the store manager to give me store credit for $79 and I would eat the $100 and part as friends. Just a NO I CAN'T do that. I could go on and on. Bottom line. RUN AWAY!

Best Buy is the best tech for your needs.

One in-house call or an in-store consult recovers the price. Both of our support techs have been outstanding. they were knowlegeble and answered u questions and fixed our problems in a minimum time. Highly recommend them!
