This review is for last year. Extended warranty coverage could make this worth it, except it does not include installation anymore and other companies have the extended warranty. If they discounted the installation charges it could make a difference

I am one of those people who say, Total Tech support Support!! We don't need that!! That's just a way for them to ĝet more money from us... WELL I WAS WRONG!!! IF YOU BUY ELECTRONICS, YOU NEED TO GET THE TOTAL TECH. Just call the geek squad for they are your TECH HEROES.....

Having geek squad protection is totally worth it.. i have grandkids 15 & 16 ,i trust Best Buy witb their purchases. Gives u that extra 2 yr protection.. Go for it you won't regret it

I renew my Total Tech membership every year. It is a HUGE relief knowing that my computer, phone, tablets, all my tech stuff is covered for repairs and tweeking. I rely on Total Tech and Geek Team to debug, devirus my stuff. I would be lost without them.

VERY HELPFUL & I HAVE PEACE OF MIND IN ALL MY ELECTRONICS STUFF AT HOME

I was lied to by a sales associate in the Green Bay store when I purchased an open box LG OLED TV. He stated that it was fully covered under my Total Membership. This is false. The TV had burn in when I got it home. They refused to honor the warranty, stating that LG had to fix it within the first year. LG stated they do not honor the warranty for open box items and that Best Buy is aware of this. The manager refused to speak to me when I went back to the store (I live 4 hours away). They even removed the TV from my purchase history in order to claim I had no TV. In my opinion, this is criminal behavior and Best Buy should be shut down. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I am canceling my membership and boycotting Best Buy, as well as all my family and friends.

Use total membership throughout the year on all electronics.

This service gives me peace of mind. I had a previous insurance policy and when a phone broke that policy (not through Best Buy) sent me a refurbished phone which died within a month and was not covered! I switched to total tech because they truly back their products and replace with new if needed.

Up to 2 years of protection is a reassurance that the product will be working, repaired, or replaced.
