    Excellent service! Helped recover data from a corrupt HDD, took less than a couple of hours. Was quoted by a different company 4x the price of membership just to diagnose the HDD.

    I haven’t had a reason to use it yet, but purchased it for coverage of my appliances I bought for a nee home. I will most likely purchase new apple products / iphones at BestBuy for the complimentary apple care

    This membership would be good only if you didn't have the manufacturer's warranty or you had any problems with any of the items that you purchased after the manufacturer's warranty had expired.

    We purchased a MacBook Air a few months ago, and while at checkout it was suggested that we purchase the Totaltech Membership as it includes AppleCare+. We were told the Totaltech Membership adds extra coverage and services for all Apple products. Should we ever have an issue with the MacBook we can bring it in to the store to have it serviced. Recently, I went to the store to have the charging cable replaced, since it's covered under the plan(s), only to be told the store cannot service Apple MacBook products, that I would need to call Apple Support. After calling Apple Support, they would gladly send a new charging cable while putting a $53 hold on a credit card. I feel we were somewhat misled when we were encouraged to by the Totaltech Membership, as the store cannot simply replace items in the store even if the replacement item is in-stock. For us, the membership seemed like a great idea since were in a rural town with no Apple Store within 100 miles.

    The total tech membership is completely worth it! The amount of money that i save with the included protection plans alone pays for itself. I get 60 days on returns plus total tech member pricing on certain items!

    I never thought i would get the memebership but i did. Having problems with my laptop was explained throughly about the membership and it was the best purchase choice I made. I am so glad i did. Highly recommend

    Today is Best Buy's Black Friday in July sale. I was excited to see some good, but not exceptional deals on items that I would like. I also saw that the washer and dryer that I bought had a return option and were on sale. This was the last day on my 60 day price match period. I called Best Buy and despite the best efforts of the representatives (2 of them as this was escalated) they could not price match these items. Both representatives agreed that I should be getting $100 back ($50 for each unit) but there was no way that the system would allow them to process the match. The recommendation was to return these items and repurchase, which is not happening with a washer and dryer. I asked if this could be brought to another person or supervisor, but this was not possible. On the plus side of Total Tech, if you have items that you need installed such as a TV, Washer / Dryer, car audio, etc. this could be a good purchase. However, do not count on the 60 day price match because you may be like me and waste an hour of your day just to be frustrated and upset.

    My back up hard drive died.....and I am a single, low tech mama who needs to know more.... so I have decided to get this membership and start tomorrow. The service tech, Parker, was awesome and helped me through a difficult time.

    The geek squad was great when my laptop screen broke!!! They really helped me out and the price was great since I had protection on my laptop I paid close to nothing and they did a great job!!!

    Unlimited geek squad support is great. Just walk in tell them what you have is broken and it is a no hassle experience. Unless of course the person working is new but give them some slack. They deal with broken crap all day haha

    They have always helped me repair my stuff and in great turnaround time. Instead of buying a new laptop, they fixed it and replaced hard drive and moved my docs to the new one in a couple days!
