The free shipping was a fantastic service that makes membership great

The total membership is useless when you actually needed service. I had it for 2 years and bought multiple major appliances from Best Buy so I can get extended warranty and geek squad service. Recently I bought a computer and asked the geek squad to set it up and transfer files from my old computer to the new. I made an appointment and bought both computers in. I was told it would take 2-3 days. I went back 3 days later, nothing was done. I was told they had a lot of computers to work on. I had to use the computer for work. I couldn’t wait longer. I end up getting the computers back and bought a software for transferring the data. It only took slightly over an hour. After I transferred the data I found my Dragan Medical Dictation program did not work. So I called the geek squad. A tech got on remotely and spent over an hour and couldn’t fix the problem and told me Windows 11 was not compatible with the old version of Dragon. What finally made me cancel the membership was the Samsung Induction range I bought from them about 6 months ago, the control panel glass broke and I was told it was not covered by warranty by Samsung and I have to pay $120 just for Best Buy service tech to come for a diagnostic trip, parts and repair would be additional. I told them I knew it was the glass over the control panel and I even called Samsung to get the part number. They told me I still have to pay for the diagnostic trip fee. So the membership got me nothing. It was a gimmick for me to purchase things from them!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered an 85-in Samsung TV that was supposed to be delivered from 1500 to 1800 CST on 21 MAY 2024. I contacted support when I didn't receive any call by 1830. The first person I spoke to informed me the delivery was behind, but it would be delivered. Shortly after, I received another call stating that the delivery would not occur because the driver was "stuck" on another job. I was told the next available date was Friday. So, to absolutely no fault, I am not receiving the product I ordered on the scheduled delivery date and now have to wait three days. I told the person on the phone that it was unacceptable and to cancel my order. She specifically stated she couldn't and to contact the store. I didn't buy the television from the store. I bought it online, so I logged into the Best Buy account and chatted for help. The person assisted me with the cancellation. The audacity of asking me to wait until Friday to have my order delivered struck a nerve, so I canceled it. I had stopped conducting business with Best Buy years ago, yet I thought I'd order the television with the Geek Squad warranty to have local support should it stop working. I won't shop from Best Buy for the rest of my life. Does losing one customer mean anything to the juggernaut company named Best Buy? No, but I refuse to conduct business with a company that fails to uphold its agreed-upon duties.

What I love with this membership is the unlimited geek squad.

How can you beat protection plans on your purchases, great support, excellent customer service and the ease of knowing you have an amazing Best Buy support staff available to help you! Membership is Priceless!

This is a great value and is highly recommended. Its always a comfort knowing i have full protection over my purchases and geek squad there to help when needed.

I love electronics and I prefer buying them here and having a plan where I know all of my electronics are covered if sometbing happens

I needed to find an old receipt. The user portal was so easy to maneuver. I know I'm covered.

Just having the Geek sqaud at my fingertips is always great and very helpful

If you are buying a computer, this plan is extremely worth it. You get product protection, 60 days to ensure you get the best price, and geek sqaud service in store. Its hard to beat that overall value.

This has turned out to be a great value! Purchased a 2 samsung watches / S23 / Apple Phone / Headphones / and a laptop! All are covered for any issues at 1 low price! Thins includes apple care on the devices at no addl price!

we have so many items we have purchased from best buy so we thought it would be best to purchase the total tech and we have needed twice with our sons ipd not taking proper care of it
