I'm sad how long it took to get my repair back from geek squad as the longer they have it i lose business it went in for a audio jack and some how a new screen was nothing wrong with the screen so they had to have broke it I'm truly saddened about all this

I have been a subscriber to Best Buy’s Total Protection Service Plan for years, and my experience has been a mix of occasional satisfaction and frequent frustration. While the plan works well when it does, there have been numerous instances where I discovered that items I purchased were not covered, despite not being informed of this at the time of sale. When my paper shredder broke, I was told that it wasn’t covered under the plan because the manufacturer, Honeywell, doesn’t have a relationship with Best Buy. This was never mentioned on the website during checkout or on my receipt. When I brought this up at the Princeton store, the tech lead informed me that such details are probably buried in the fine print. This response was incredibly dismissive and unhelpful, especially from someone in a leadership position. As a result, despite having paid for the Total Protection Service Plan for years, I now have to deal directly with Honeywell for the repair of my defective paper shredder. This experience has left me feeling misled and disappointed with Best Buy's service. In summary, do not assume that your purchase is covered under the protection plan. Always double-check if the specific item is included to avoid unpleasant surprises.

value continues into multiple year membership. Had to purchase computer for retirement of spouse this year and because mine was old. Could not beat price and feel safe to use Geek squad for problems.
