Barely worth it. I have signed up for other computer repair programs at a comparable that resolve my issues faster and with more clarity than before I gave them my device. The process is not easy or fast. There is no reason why I should have to wait over 2 weeks to get back my laptop that was sent all the way to Geek Squad headquarters for a repair issue that any local computer repair shop can fix for half the cost. That is a rip-off.

you installed a speaker that i got in the mail which was damaged. the seller insist that they test every speaker begore going out. so i can't give a passing grade.

This membership is amazing. When you buy is gives you apple care free and also gives you protection of devices you buy.

I really don't know. But I would say it's better to have this membership, than not, to protect you because their laptops are not that dependable, especially if you're buying open box (excellent). I wouldn't blame best buy, I just believe they need more experienced employees at the Geek Squad dept. Someone who can actually check PCs and repair them
