    Great value, the more electronics you have the better. Tvs, phones, tablets. Nearly any device or screen and they can help you out in a fast and timely manner. Great buy, especially with kids

    Having unlimited Geek Squad support is a must when working remotely. get a bi-yearly cleaning of any viruses that could be affecting my system and causing it to run slow. Definitely worth it!

    So worth the cost. Their in-home service is top-notch. Helpful and good at resolving the problems. Managed to always get whatever issue fixed. But the wait time on the phone or online for services is incredibly frustrating. A one to two hour wait time is not unheard of. And I have had to do the dance of being switched to numerous persons before I get to the one who can assist. So the process is cumbersome.

    I bought this exclusively to facilitate car audio installation, which is largely covered by this membership. Knowing ahead of time that I would pay a premium for the products (which need to be purchased from best buy), I was content believing that I may break even with the installation costs (given the cost of the membership) and have the peace of mind of knowing that the labor was under warranty. It's not worth it, mostly do to the headache of trying to realize the benefit of the warranty (see below), but also scheduling service in the first place. First of all, the claim that there are experts waiting to assist you is a lie, at least when it comes to car audio. They cannot and will not help you with anything related to audio installation, unless your objective is to be forwarded to someone else. The someone else will be the installers at a particular store, i.e. the people actually performing the installations, which is to say that they are infrequently in a position to answer the phone (or choose not to), let alone provide adequate customer service if they do. As a result, count on being forwarded to a line that will not be answered and will seldom allow you to leave a message. This has been my experience when asking questions related to my vehicle or the installation/warranty process, or more recently addressing a recently installed and now defective product. My most recent attempt to resolve the defective product issue, after successfully leaving a message but receiving no call back for days, predictably led to my being forwarded to the installation bay, only to be informed (by the customer service associate, not the installer) that the installation bay was not taking calls today. You read that correctly, the only person that is in a position to even begin addressing the issue for this TotalTech member was not taking calls. The only alternatives provided were to drive to the store and hope to talk to someone, or try another store - unbelievable. At this point, I'll have to drive to the store and hopefully get to speak to someone helpful. If I'm very lucky, they'll triage the issue on the spot. More than likely, I'll have to set up an appointment and make another trip to the store. Either way, it's likely that they'll diagnose a defective product, for which they'll have to order a replacement, and I'll get to come back again. I wish I could get my money back.

    Fraudulent Service, do not purchase

    This is a fraudulent service that canceled my subscription without notification and refused to provide repair service on a broken dishwasher they supplied twice, the first time they sent me over to Maytag service who fixed it when the same issue happened again. They claimed my membership was lapsed without any notification, and after 2 hours on the line with customer support they said they would replace the unit as a one time courtesy by a customer service supervisor. After that I was disconnected in the transfer and the transfer notes were lost in the disconnection. I called back and told this story to a customer service representative that I'd need to resubscribe to receive my one time complimentary exchange. I did resubscribe, then I was told the exchange team had gone home for the night. When I followed up the next day, I had to spend ANOTHER 2 hours on the phone as there was no record of that exchange. After I got a call back from a supervisor he told me there was nothing they could do in order to do the exchange. He then offered to comp my diagnostic repair service and put it on the schedule and mentioned it in the comments of the request but the technician trying to schedule the exact time to come by said that they were not going to honor that comment and would expect me to pay the full diagnostic fee even though it was clear that this would be a comp from the head of the customer service documentation. This is flat out fraud.

    I have no idea how they’re making money on this. The coverage they offer is first class and most Apple products literally get Apple care for free. I’ve saved so much money. Absolute best value for the money.

    The membership is wonderful if I had the needs. I actually thought it would be useful with an old computer and all the business tech hiccups. Unfortunately, I am not as busy as I hoped and have to cut costs.
