I recently had someone try and hack into my laptop. This service assisted me remotely and cleaned up the hacker mess and ensured I had no spy or malware installed. They also increased the speed of my laptop. Totally worth the money!

I haven’t used this often. This protection plan is great though the times I’ve used it three times. Best Buy was very cooperative no issues, but all I would highly recommend it.

It pays itself as you use it for your computers and appliances. They delivered and set up my washer, dryer, and refrigerator for free.

I want to sincerely thank Kyle at the Westminster, CA Best Buy Geek Squad. I had taken my laptop in a few days ago because I couldn't connect to the wifi and had tried solving the issue myself. The people who helped me weren't able to solve the problem and told me the only solution was backing up everything on the laptop and resetting the entire computer. Depressed but trusting them I made an appointment for them to do this. When I came in to drop off the laptop my new guardian angel Kyle had my wifi connected in a mere 2 minutes because of one box not being checked during one of the solutions both the techs from before and I had tried. He literally saved the day and a lot of stress! I'm a little distressed that the prior techs didn't try/know this and very nearly had me completely erase and reset my computer! Bottom line - THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU KYLE!

It's a great offer for the price. It gives us the chance to get a refund if in 60 days a purchase has gone down in price. And it gives unlimited repairs in case something is not working properly which is great.

If you buy a lot from Best Buy, this is totally worth it just for the geek squad assistance!

I had another computer fixed with no cost because I have this membership rating. Recently took in another computer that had all the "bells going off" like a virus attach and they checked, no virus!

I took out a Best Buy total membership to have data retrieved from a crashed Windows 10 PC and transferred to a new Windows 11 mini PC. They called and said they could not get the data from the old hard drive and could send out and have it done for an additional $450 to $1000. I took this to a geek friend who had been on vacation when I had taken it to Best Buy. He was able to find my missing data and get it loaded onto my new pc, along with drivers to make everything work properly. So basically I wasted my time and money at Best Buy and can’t recommend. I wish they would give me back the nearly $200 cost.

Have had total protection plan for years. Like to have availability of Geek Squad coming to my home. I understand rates are now being applied per visit. Liked it the original way.

Very expensive, but does the job. You can get covered with protection for your devices and what not. What can I expect, with a price like that, I should be receiving quality repairs.

pricey at $179.99 if not used but the $179.99 buys peace of mind

Good coverage including Geek Squad since 2013 and I just purchase my 3rd Computer and a Printer last year both are covered under under TotalTech.

I love total te h its worth every penny. When you dont have time to swap compitor parts or need someyhing fixed. They are there to talk and hlep you when you need it most. And always do a steller job.
