Protection plans are the best part now that free installation isn’t included anymore. Still worth keeping for the extended warranty and great geek squad services

It works as described with the unlimited service. Very nice if you are buying alot of complicated things. However, I had to purchase when I kept getting defective tvs and soundbars. I wanted to prove it wasn't me. They came and figured out that the items were in fact defective. Wished I didn't have to pay to figure that out. In the end, after they set up the tv, I realized I would have never been able to set it up on my own (sony 85j) as it was complicated. So there was value there. The downside, is you may or may not get a knowledgable tech sent out to your house. They may instill confidence that they did a great job, explain it and send you away with a working tv... or they may be new on the job and leave the home page being a setup screen and things not working since they didn't test it before they leave. Had both experiences thus far. At least all techs at my house were very friendly!

I enjoy having the total tech membership due to the various offers that have been opened up to me, will most likely be purchasing it again for the following year.

Worth it. Being able to bring in other products for support is a good deal. Best Buy has competitive pricing these days so the annual is worth it for future purchases also.

Three star because the sales person lied and said it was good for two years but that is only if you pay for it yearly. I won’t be renewing. So truly it is a one year warranty unless you keep paying.

Bought this. It cost me less to buy this than to pay for an install and old appliance removal and a warranty. Plus it covers other things not purchased at best buy
