I’ve Been a member for awhile now. Did take some time off when you stopped installing the TV’s but came back this year. Appreciate the help I get from sales and geek squad.

I am happy that I purchased the Total Buy membership. The Geek Squad was able to transfer all of my files to my new OmniBook from my old cracked laptop. Whew! What relief. I am now up and running again.

I always used to buy separate warranties for everything I bought, so this membership is fantastic because it covers most of what I buy at Best Buy.

This membership has helped multiple times, from my daughter not being able to set up her computer to a ‘new to me’ purchase that needed re-setting.

Recommendation to purchase made total sense with buying a new computer. They set up the new computer, transferring everything from old computer. And we can bring computer in if any issues.

Geek Squad did a good job of transferring data from old computer to new. However, they overlooked my primary concern which was no Windows Security/Defender. I had to download a new copy of Windows 11 which resolved the problem.

The membership itself is actually nice but it is way too expensive for my budget that’s why I have it anymore

If you buy a lot of electronics then im sure its worth it. They removed the Free Install bonus which is the only reason I signed up to be honest. Didnt cancel renewal before it processed so im locked in for another year. Member pricing on some things is pretty good but not too sure its worth the cost of the membership. Free warranties are nice but if you arent hard on things then you will probably never really need it so again, not too sure if its worth the yearly membership. I only signed up because I was buying appliances and with each install, delivery fee, and haul away fee it was cheaper to sign up for the membership but since they have removed the free install and free haul away perks so the value for the money isnt there anymore. I have a reminder to cancel a few days before it renews next year.

I like buying the extra warranty and coverage for my family simply because I'm not usually not home or able to help out so anything to help my wife an family and warranty just makes sense

I am very pleased with my new computer. It does everything they said it would and the Geek squad at Best Buy transferred all my files from my old to my new and everything has been great!!! So happy I went to Best Buy and didn't try to do all this on my own.

It's a product that's better to have and not use, and better to want and not have. It's an investment in our work tools.

Its very worth it to get a yearly membership with best buy...their is so much value and benefit to it

I'm a Best Buy Elite member because I purchase so many products from Best Buy every year and was a member of the original Best Buy Total Tech Support program. When totaltech was rolled out, I was immediately upgraded to this from the original Total Tech Support and it seemed like a good deal. Given how many products I purchase from Best Buy every year, I normally get a Geek Squad Protection Plan on most of my product purchases. Totaltech offers this by default which is great but you had to keep the totaltech membership on a continual basis which costs $199.99 per year. Furthermore, you have to pay a dedutible which varies depending on the item if you need to claim any kind of repair or service on top of the $199.99 per year membership fee. Personally, I don't intend to use most of the services offered by totaltech and I felt that it would cost more long-term than purchasing individual geek squad protection plans on select products. Also, I felt it's more costly too because of the deductible you would have to pay to have an item repaired under the program whereas there is NO deductible if you have a traditional geek squad protection plan. IMO, I don't recommend this membership!
