I needed help with my computer. Someone recommended the Geek Squad. I was told if I bought a year membership that I would get support for the whole year from the Geek Squad. I felt like this was a bargain. I hope to use my membership for other things during this year.

Buy all my electrics from BEST BUY! They also handle my Inter Net Security with Webroot. They are very responsive, and talk to me with respect and understanding. At 67 years of age that means a lot!

After only a week of having I needed files recovered off of my laptop which they were able to do in one day. This would've cost $100 at the genius bar but was free with the membership. About to take the laptop back to see why it's broken.

Initially I thought I wouldn't need ALL the services offered with Total Reward Membership. I utilized it twice and paid off my card. I became in need of Geek Squad and customer service for the online protection. It wasn't until the need that I was convinced this was a much needed and great purchase! I've had to utilize the service at the Best Buy store (Geek Squad). I have also called at 11pm @ night for online support services from the 24/7 customer care. I received the best customer service, patience and problem solving online late at night. The annual fee does seem slightly costly and I would prefer a lower price. If I do not utilize the services anymore for the next 9 months, the program has truly assisted me when in need the past 3 months. I paid nothing (or very little for parts) upfront/in the end of service because its included with the annual program fee.

Introduced to this when I brought in a desktop PC for hardware diagnostics. Purchasing the membership made sense in that the cost of the membership was directly applied to the cost for the diagnostics.

It is worth the cost for the peace of mind, believe me. Knowing that ALL my devices are covered, recent or older ones, you can't beat that.
