Best Buy has a completely incompetent fraud protection system. They send an email that doesn't have their logo, asking you to call a number that doesn't appear on their website, so it looks fraudulent. The other thing that looks fraudulent is that all their fraud-related emails are set to disappear from your inbox after you read them. They give you 24 hours to respond to the email. If you don't, they block your name (not your credit card, your name) so you can't order anything, not even at their stores, for delivery at their stores. They don't even check with your credit card. To get the block removed, you have to find someone in their maze of a phone tree who actually understands the system and can contact the powers that remove the block. The department that removes the block is a secret that they don't communicate - not to their sales representative, not to their in-store staff, and certainly not to their customers. Once you find a person who knows something, they are great. Bottom line: 10 days, 6? phone calls, 2 trips to the store. Maybe after all that I might have now placed an order that I hope will work. They need to fix their horrible system and inform their people how it works.

I purchase quite a few devices and appliances from BestBuy and this makes so much sense if you do. It pays for itself on just a couple purchases.

saved a lot of money with this as I was having issues with my PC! Needed a new cooler and I had to only pay for the part and labor was free! Amazing buy!

This membership allowed us to have Geek Squad to aid in the download of data from our old unit to the new computer.

My BestBuy total membership is a sound investment. I use the GeekSquad portion quarterly to diagnose and clean up my desktop computer. The techs are easy to work with as well as knowledgeable. I plan to work onsite through the program for my Windows 11 upgrade.

I am grateful that I this membership. It give me peace in my mind that I have a way to check my computer if it have a the blue screen of death or something else.

We have had Best Buy Total membership for many years. We had a fire and had to replace all of the appliances but one. Our new stove[we have to cook a lot because of allergies] died in less than a year's time(electronic side of the gas stove), and we got the credit for it and bought a different model. I used the difference they gave us on a card to replace the last one that survived the fire, as it was dying(over ten yr old!). I strongly recommend their Total membership, as we have had electronics and appliances from them for years. They cover most things that go wrong, and charge less than most if it needs serious repairs. The added bonus is a 10% discount off anything you purchase there as a member. That helped us a lot when we had to replace so much all at once!!! It also gives coupons off toward different items at different times of the year.

I've been using the Best Buy Membership for a few months now, and overall, it's been a solid value depending on how often you shop there. The biggest perks for me have been the extended return window and access to exclusive member pricing—both of which have already saved me money and hassle on a couple of tech purchases.

in the past i've had products that unfortunately had some odd things happen to it. and I had no warranty protection. now I will always use the best buy membership because of all the things it covers. i hope I don't ever have to use it but its definitely piece of mind that if something happens to the Tv or one of my products I purchased from best buy then its covered! which is amazing as I only thought the membership was for THAT ONE ITEM you purchased!
