It is logical to purchase this because eventually you'll encounter a repair or corruption cleaning which alone will cost probably more than the membership costs. I'd hit it.

I think it's worth it. My favorite thing about the membership at Best Buy is the ease of mind of having a warranty. I don't have to worry about whether I have one, or fumble to find the paperwork. Anytime I've needed to use it, service has been terrific. Customer Service is essential. Also the rewards are excellent and the products available are reliable in quality, unlike what's available at most retailers. Shipping is always quick and reliable too.

Purchased a new fridge & wanted a warranty & for that price s full geek membership included for one year & appliance term 2 years. Good deal for the price.

Total is pretty good. I just wish Best Buy itself had more options sometimes. That being said I’ve gotten some good deals via their Total member pricing and the default two year coverage on every item is a nice bonus. Certainly not for everyone though, you really need to buy a lot of tech or games to get your value out of it. If you do that though it’s a nice program and of the two years I’ve had it it’s been pretty good.

So many good things about the Total Tech membership. If you own many electronic devices for personal or business, you need this. Geek Squad has been especially helpful with problems of all sorts. Since I only buy from Best Buy, it is an easy choice every year

My laptop needed a good cleaning. I was grateful for the repair. My laptop is good as new.

I have recouped my membership fee in the services I have received. Setting up new products is a breeze with their service and I love have easy access to the Geek Squad. They saved my sanity when I found I had been scammed and was locked out of my computer. I purchased a new laptop and Jeff was extremely helpful in setting in up for me and then wiping my old laptop so I could give it to my grandson. I have used the phone service when I needed help with my tv. I pick Best Buy for my any new product because I know they will provide my support and service when I need it.

A lot of benefits crammed into a reasonable price.

The membership is a great value but its nothing like it used to be due to companies abusing the set-up and installation fees all the while screwing the single owner membership holder. I've been a geek member for 5-7 years.

Excellent local coverage. I live close to the Local Best Buy and 2 other locations within 20 to 30 miles. If you make a large purchase, it is a good add on. I am replacing a gaming computer and router. You get better pricing, so it does not take long to recover the cost.

This membership has given me peace of mind when buying items at Best Buy. I was able to transfer data from a dying computer and to get data off 2 very old computers. I only paid for the memory stick to do it. It's great.

You cannot beat the deal that you get with this membership I never had a membership until this past year and I can tell you that I will continue to have whatever year
