Coverage when you need it. Love the fact the Geek Squad is there to solve any issues that arise.

This membership is the best bang for buck! I purchased three Apple I pads for my children the yearly member ship came with Apple care which ended up being cheaper then getting Apple care through Apple.

I’ve had this membership for 5 months and I must say that the tech support is worth it. Had a few to build a computer for a nephew but was so busy during the holiday season didn’t have enough time to actually build it. So I took it to Best Buy and after 3 days it was put together with minimal issues. So I’m terms of physical support I would definitely recommend. That being said the over the phone support is atrocious. I spoke to over 4 virtual tech support agents who seemed to struggle to speak/understand English which made troubleshooting software issues impossible. The outsourced support agents were not helpful at all with one of them not even understanding that if they minimized an application it goes away. An agent actually yelled at me over the phone for closing out a program for which they didn’t know how to reopen when I had watched them minimize it. Avoid their virtual support at all costs as it is absolutely terrible however I fully support their in store geek squad support as not only did they build an entire computer for me they were able to answer any questions I had as well as give me recommendations on future upgrades. Pros: Geek squad in person support is a 10/10 Best Buy member discounts Membership benefits giving you free trials Cons Virtual tech support In conclusion. I’d say get it if you have a custom built computer as the geek squad support is fantastic. However, if you do not live near a Best Buy do not count on their virtual support.

The biggest negative for this membership in my opinion is that they removed the perk dor free installations, so no more free installations on car electronics, home electronics, or appliances. However depening on how much spend per year at Best Buy the amount of warranties, points banking, discounts, and free shipping pays for itself pretty fast.

We were in desperate need of replacing our HP Chromebook due to battery "swelling". Winter was able to help us get everything set up on our new Acer Chromebook. The entire experience was handled professionally and seamlessly. Thanks for the assistance.

We bought it because we bought a store model laptop. We didn't end up needing to make any claims, so we didn't see the need to extend due to cost.

My PC was having issues over the span of months thst were difficult to consistently replicate. Taking it in for service over and over can become expensive. This service can be great for the right scenario. I canceled after the year due to a new PC purchase, so you're going to have to gauge how often you plan to be at Geek Squad in order to determine if this is a value or not for you.

Honestly, this membership is well worth keeping every year. It covers and all electronics. I had my daughter's laptop cleaned and fixed in Jersey with this membership and I live in New York, so yes, it can be used anyplace.

Its great because so much of modern life depends on tek and Best Buy is the best option with the best options.

The membership has paid for itself with recent purchases and visits to geek squad! Well worth the price if you purchase lots of electronics.

Super good I use geek squad with fixing my computer with the membership I can go in as many times as I need to. I also had troubles with my computer at first so buying the membership really did save me money I actually ended up saving around $200 on fees and appointments

Love to have your product protected plus have geek squad always there to repair any product. Can’t get better than this.

I purchased the Total Membership because I had several large purchases, and paying for individual protection plans for each would have cost more than the membership fee. However, to my surprise, I've received far more than just device protection! I successfully exchanged my TV twice with almost no hassle, finally getting the one I wanted. I also received a $200 price match thanks to the extended price match period included with the membership. I definitely recommend it!
