The total tech is good for people that are going to use it for multiple electronics. I purchased this in September with the Samsung 65 inch QN900A. I was able to purchase the 5 year warranty at a discount. The Samsung TV had too much juddering on the screen so I switched to the Samsung QN90A and purchased the 5 year warranty and the TV still had issues. I then switched it to the Sony A80J 65 inch but Total Tech "Upgraded" it's program and all of a sudden I can't purchase the 5 year warranty for $389.00. I have to spend $199.99 for the first two years then $199.99 per year the next 3 years and and on top of that pay $8 a month for years three through five to have the warranty. So now Best Buy wants me to spend $1300 over the next 5 years to have the warranty on a TV that costs $1750 instead of being able to purchase the warranty for five years for $389. This is not a good deal at all. The customer service has been great but this Total Tech membership should allow you to purchase the warranties like everyone else. I was using it just for my TV so not a great deal at all.
