I used to like it before the change

I enjoyed discounts on geek squad protection plans the most and planned to renew my membership - until a drastic change in October 2021. one example: I had a computer monitor in my basket: $35 for a 4 year geek squad replacement plan. the next day when things switched I was only offered a 2 year geek squad replacement plan that now depended on me maintaining my totaltech membership for those 2 years - $398. I decided to end my total tech membership early and just purchased the 4 year plan outright, which seemed to go up in price beyond the discount to $59.99 - but it beats being on the hook for $398 and only getting 2 years, very unhappy. an apparently the only way Best Buy will take complaints is through snail mail, not to mention hold times are always "high due to unusually high call volume" with no call back option when I had to call, more than once to cancel my total tech membership.
