    Really Painful Service

    I assumed this is a great service and provide 360 service however when it comes to execution, experience is really painful. We have a microwave that was defective and the ask was simple 4 steps : 1) Uninstall, 2) Delivery on new Microwave 3) Installation 4) Haul away the defective ones. For the past 2 months, I have been trying to get it done however for one reason or the other the appointments are not scheduled appropriately . ( Delivery happening after the installation appointment as an example) I have wasted an hour of my time every time this needs to be corrected and still I am not able to get it done. This is really painful and don't know what should be done for the same.

    Trouble connecting with remote support

    I have attempted (attempted is the key word) to use Best Buy Totaltech Support for a networking issue in my house between PCs. First of all, you have to spend 15-20 minutes with some entry level person whose total mission is to set up a remote connection to your PC. Then they "escalate" the call. They give a time estimate which is quicker than the actual contact with the 2nd agent. You have to watch the remote session because there is no guarantee the 2nd agent will call you back first (even though I insisted). All of a sudden they are looking through your PC, making changes and not telling you why. But twice the 2nd level did call because their remote session was not working, even though it was active on my screen. They gave me a phone number which started the whole process over again. Another hour wait. Extremely disappointed in this service. Would not get it again.

    This is my second year of being a member and I would highly recommend the geek squad until this last month. Received a 179.00 bill of installation and equipment charge that I did not purchase. I did use geek squad August 29 to mount my 75” tv but did not mount it because wasn’t sure where I wanted it mounted. Geek squad and I decided not to mount over fireplace. They stayed about 10 minutes and only worked on remote. Told me to call when I was ready to mount TVs. They left with no charge. Next day geek squad came and set up my computer and charged me 49.99 which I paid and have receipt. When I called about bill ,I was told I had to dispute bill and would take 69-90 days. So now I’m afraid to call and schedule geeks to come and mount tv. I do not do online with my card, and cannot send pics or receipt for dispute. Cannot understand why this is happening , seems they could check with my geek squad and records. If this is not resolved soon I will destroy credit card and not use Best Buy although I have paid another year for geek squad I would b surprised if I would get a refund. Hopefully they will see their mistake.
