    I purchased the service because I was not able to restore my computer to launch to windows. I was hoping BB Totaltech is the solution. After waiting for a week and a half -looks like the tech kind of gave up on it. It still won't boot to Windows. I took it home disappointed so I worked on it myself. Got it it resolve. I feel like I wasted my money. Maybe good on other stuff like hanging or setting up TV's but I don't think computer repair is their forte at least where I took my computer to....

    So the only appointment I tried to schedule, nobody showed up and I didn't get a call until after my appointment time (I had taken off work). The next appointment was several weeks out. Then I decided to cancel, and on the account page it says you must contact them. I tried calling and the wait time was 2.5 hours. It seems almost like a parody rather than a real life company.

    They couldn’t help with covered tv. Told me to get help from LG. TV was 7 months old. Needed a new motherboard. I bought protection so totaltech could take care of these kind of problems. The tv warranty proved to be all I needed. Totaltech was not a good value for the money, and the 800 phone support was a joke.

    I brought my lap top to Boynton Beach Best Buy for a thought to be battery issue Geek Squad member looked at it and said the inside where plug goes to memory board was broken. He. Ever tested the battery. He suggested buying a new lap top. I went home ordered a new battery on Amazon put it in and it works fine to this day. Geek Squad should have at least tested my battery

    i wil not be renewing my yearlysub. They have never fixed nor tried to fix a problem i have over the phone or via chat!! i actally have video i recordedof an employee of theres stealing alll my files signing into my i cloud accountand even my home wifi!!!!! that was the last straw; my computer has been hacked and ALL ACCOUNTS HIJACKED AND MY IDENTITY IS BEEN STOLEN since then!!! of course no one is willing to make this right or fixitI also have recorded an employee admitting that have commited fraud with me and my devices, they even changed my email (on just there end)

    Carlos the Geek Squad Manager ? does not train his associates properly they say one thing he says something else which creates for me to run around and costing another $ 100 extra outside the total tech, this person has got to learn how to speak to loyal Elite Plus customers

    I brought my laptop in to my local Best Buy geek squad to upgrade the storage and again to install a new keyboard only to notice my laptop having more scratches on it and to find out not being able to do more upgrading because of the risk of stripping screws. Would not recommend at all for any computer repairs whatsoever, they were very rough with my laptop!

    This is the most crock pot of a buy i have ever seen i hate it they have some inexperienced car audio installation tech I've met they ruined my amp because of the installation of this also they kept my chrome panel off

    Terrible Service - DO NOT BUY

    Was scheduled appointments incorrectly multiple times spacing out weeks to months in-between each. After those failed attempts to use the service, I asked for a refund and had to call 10 different times to get full refunded. The people you speak with no very little of what they are talking about which leads to incorrect services scheduled. They scheduled the wrong service multiple times but the Tech requires you to pay regardless. I would not recommend this service and to use any local option over Best Buy TotalTech.

    Savings is nice, it was only worth it for me to purchase this during an audio install as I planned on having more speakers installed. I did not end up installing those speakers.

    Refused to install tv wall mount, tv and sound bar. Had many excuses why they wouldn't. To complicated, stud finder didn't work and didn't know how to put the tv mount together. And they call themselves the geek squad. When they entered my home and looked at the task I knew they didn't want to do the job.

    Was signed up for this crap durring a speaker installation. Tried to cancel my subscription with their tech support, only to be lied to. They claimed my subscription had been cancelled and then i get charged nearly 200 dollars the next month for the subscription they claimed to cancel. Dont let them trick you into becoming a member its a total scam.

    If you have something that needs to be installed, it's OK. But, unless you really want to waste $200 a year being automatically charged for something totally useless....

    In theory this is great! If only the installers and schedulers could get it together. I waited over two months to get a gas stove and when it finally came in the installers weren’t able to install because when they came out previously to tell me I could have a gas stove they did not tell me I needed to have a shutoff value installed first. Now I have to wait another three weeks to get a new install date.
