    When my over the range microwave appliance broke, I thought I would be in for weeks of phone calls and headaches. Instead, my Best Buy membership made the entire process simple from start to finish. I reached out, and it was easy to get through to support without waiting forever. They accepted the appliance right away, tried to repair it, and kept me updated the whole time. When they determined it could not be fixed, they credited me instead, no arguments and no red tape. That experience alone showed me the real value of my membership. Add to that the everyday perks like free two day shipping, extended returns, exclusive member pricing, and access to Geek Squad for tech help, and it feels like Best Buy is always one step ahead in making sure I am taken care of.     Glad i got this total tech. You get 60 days on returns if you dont like something and its not working out for you. You aslo have 2 years protection on all dvices you buy so if something breaks you can bring it in. Might have to pay $50 after 60 days but its better than spending $100’s again on a mew product.

    My husband and I bought a new house last year and we needed new appliances. I purchased a refrigerator and a washer/dryer set. The Best Buy rep suggested the membership and explained the price match guarantee, especially since Black Friday would fall in the 60-day time. We were able to quickly and easily get the new sale price difference on all three items. Our particular refrigerator went to an additional sales promotion during the time, and they did the adjustment again. I am now remodeling my kitchen and purchasing more appliances and watching for price differences again.

    Not impressed with the Geek Squad

    Had appointment on 2/6/26 at 2 PM (first time with Geek Squad). Waited about 15 extra minutes. The reason for the appointment was concerning issues related to the purchase of new cell phones and service by a new provider (all through Best Buy). The problems went unresolved; in fact, I later corrected the issue on my phone outside of Geek Squad's assistance (or lack thereof). The tech seemed more concerned about going over the allotted 20 minutes (we were unaware of any time limitation), than resolving the concerns. We received some helpful information related to one of the two phones; however, the process is tedious. By the way, the only reason for the Geek Squad purchase was that Best Buy would have charged $80.00 each for setting up two new phones; (outrageous, in the first place). For just a few more dollars, we could purchase Geek Squad services for one year; which we did.

    Having the membership saves me a lot of aggravation when the internet has problems and my provider says no, it's on your end and my friendly Geek Squad says it's them and you're great. Also, if Norton keeps telling me I nee to buy software for outdated drivers, I can ignore them!

    Great membership value for those that aren't overly technical and have several Phones, Laptops, Computers, and IPads in the home. Had my laptop factory reset with no loss of files and added Webroot to six devices with no service fees at all. Quick turn around and now a month later, everything is running fine and well protected

    If you’re someone who buys multiple devices or electronics/appliances in a year, or you own expensive tech items that you want protected — My Best Buy Total is definitely worth it. It gives a nice balance of convenience (shipping, deals), protection (warranty & repair discounts), and support (tech help) that offers real value over time. If, on the other hand, you’re a casual shopper (buying once in a blue moon), then the membership might feel like overkill — in that case, consider buying protection on a per-item basis instead. Overall: 9 / 10 — high cost but high value for the right kind of shopper.

    We needed to have our home desktop computer scanned for viruses. The associate told us about the membership. We were very happy with our service on our computer. The associates that we worked with were very pleasant and helpful for us old folks.

    I think if you shop here a lot you could get a lot of use out of this membership. The 60 day return is a lot more useful than you think. Especially if you’re buying something expensive it really is worth it to have a backup plan. The hassle isn’t worth what you have to deal with if you’re outside the return period.

    This membership subscription carries a great deal of trust and peace of mind behind it. I trust the knowledge and professionalism of the Geek Squad (based on years of personal experience). I have peace of mind because I know that no matter what the problem is I am covered. The staff at the Best Buy in Brentwood never fail me. You get your laptop fixed, you learn new skills yourself and you have positive interactions with staff…just for the price if membership!

    this membership is really valuable and a great thing to have. It’s helped me so much with my computers and my son computer. He always has to get it checked on because it won’t turn on sometimes and sometimes we get hit by cyber attacks and the computer gets corrupt and they’re there to fix it every time. They’re really nice also and they can let you know what’s going on with the computer and why it did what it did and you can bring it same day most times.

    This Membership has been a really good investment. I bought a Computer and Monitor that worked very well, but he liked his old computer better. A Tech Expert got his old computer to work with Windows 11 so I needed to return the computer and monitor. Thanks to the Membership allowing 60 days for returns, I was able to get me money back. I am hoping to start working on getting a new computer for my Mom who has a very old Compaq Laptop. Thank you for saving me and my Family money this year, E.D. Flood

    This was one of the best decisions I made at the beginning of 2026. I was somewhat scared to take on more debt. However, my beloved wife encouraged me to consider it an investment.     Over the years Our family has purchased all our major products from Best Buy . In the last ninety days I spent $3000.00 on the New Apple Computer system. I needed service and it was great. If you want great products and customer service. Make Best Buy your first choice.

    We have not had to use our membership yet, but we did get very good advice from the Geek Squad when we needed their help. We did change from McAfee to Webroot for better peace of mind concerning our laptop. Thank you Geek Squad.

    The membership has been so good for me. Every time I have needed support the Geek Squad was there. Recently I purchased a gift for my sister in Arkansas and to my surprise they mailed it for free! I highly recommend this membership.

    I’m really happy I joined Total Tech. The biggest benefit for me has been the support and convenience—being able to get help quickly without jumping through hoops. I’ve used it for troubleshooting and setup, and the Geek Squad staff were patient, knowledgeable, and respectful in my home. The member deals also helped offset the cost of the plan. Overall it’s been a great experience and I’d recommend it, especially if you’re buying TVs, laptops, appliances, or smart home stuff.

    I bought new phones for us and never would haven been able to transfer from the old phones without no-cost help from the GEEK squad. The salesperson was very helpful and the squad was simply the best. Plus the price discount helped. The membership is worth every penny.
