Have not had to use it but I’ve been a fan of Best Buy’s service programs in the past. Refrigerators are not made that well these days and the LG we had prior to this needed 4 separate repair visits. That cost alone equals the Total Care cost. We liked the features of LG but don’t want the hassle of repairing it ourselves. This is more of a necessity these days.

Phenomenal service. Bestbuy has done a fantastic job installing my speakers for my home theater.

This membership was, for me, an absolute waste of money. I was sold a product (hard drive) by the store associates that never worked how I wanted it to. I got a call from the Geek Squad dude a month later who scoffed and said they sold me something that would never work how I wanted it to and couldn't be refunded. I should have canceled my membership right then and there, but I waited, hoping maybe I'd want to give it another try. Should have cancelled ASAP - they don't refund wasted money on memberships. Oh well.

This service is horrible! I have ordered 3 separate items and each item had issues with either delivery or install. Each item has had me call total tech customer support spending at least 30mins to my longest hour and 45mins. These people are over seas, not trained and I got transferred 10+ times. $200 for this membership and it has only cause headache!! I do not recommend purchasing this membership and in fact I am having a hard time thinking about buying stuff from Best Buy.

No it's not a real value. First tech showed up without needed supplies to install new TV. Had to wait a day or so for the next to come. When I bought it, they said they worked on cell phones and are car entertainment systems....when I brought in my cell phone NOPE, when I brought in my car, had to have an appointment, they don't work on car sound...I did file a complaint with BB CEO and got a PARTIAL REFUND ON MY $199

Having this membership puts me at ease. If something goes wrong I know who to call

I went from loving and bragging about total tech to now telling my friends it is not worth it since the change. It has gone from a no hassle solution to working my butt off to try and talk to someone. Not to mention the 2 year extended warranty is no longer that - it is now a "discount" to repair something- My Roomba s9+ to be specific.

Total tech is a joke. I purchased a $200 tv for my son's room and they quoted me $200 setup fee. The employee encouraged me to request a refund. He told me that the company's policies has changed and that if I have issues with any product I have to contact the manufacturer. Very disappointed with Best Buy. I wonder if they are having financial problems.

I won’t make a major purchase without my totaltech membership.
