    Used to be really good now it sucks. I bought a TV today to get home one of them to help me find tune it they want to charge me $109 and he told me this is a discount with your total tech membership I said used to be if I bought it and had a delivered it would be set up for free. He said those days are gone now

    I’ve had two bad experiences with Best Buy. Total tech one was with the company they sent out to install a flatscreen TV. It had to be redone three times. The second and worse example was when I purchased an under counter icemaker, and they sent out an installer who had no idea how to install the icemaker. I called total tech multiple times for help. They told me to go to the Best Buy store in person, I went to the Best Buy store and they told me to call the total tech number and there’s nothing they can do for me. Needless to say it was not a good experience.

    So glad I decided join this program. When my partner and I bought a home, we came here to purchase a new washer and dryer--because we were active total tech members, we received a $200 GIFT CARD! I also just purchased a MacBook Pro and was given apple care for 24 months. Just buy it--it will pay for itself the more you choose to shop at Best Buy.

    Unfortunately it’s just not a good value anymore since they don’t do free installs. It’s a terrible value at $180…I certainly wouldn’t pay more than $120 for the Total Membership. I switched to the $50 Plus membership and am much happier Advice to management: bring back free installs or at least offer discounted install services with the membership to make it worthwhile.

    Frustrated Total Tech

    Bought a Samsung Surround Sound. And we needed help to connect to our existing Samsung TV. We talked to 10 Total Tech people who could not assist us. We had to talk to Samsung Company. It use to be that Total Tech could always help us. Plus there are so many charges too!

    I dropped off my laptop on a Monday. The device didn't make it to the repair center for 10 days. It didn't use to be this bad, even during the pandemic.

    Total tech support is a big plus but only on items you have purchased at Best Buy which pretty much sucks. Something's are cheaper at other places but BB Tech Support will not touch them but will only suggest buying the same product or comparative product at Best Buy. Kind of a mis representation of Total Tech Support for everything in your home.

    Beware for when your in the second year you have to pay service calls I will never do totaltech ever again. First year u purchase something it’s under the manufacturer warranty so of course Best Buy comes for free second year look out that’s where they get u. You pay every time they come out

    Have had this 1 1/2 years and used it for the first time this past weekend due to fridge going out. After an hour call they said 24-28 hours someone would call and schedule an appointment. It is now 72 hours and I am hold again for an answer.... Buyer beware.

    Great services, I have had several installations, Microwave, Gas Range, Washer & Dryer, (including a few returns and)no problems with in the return policy period. Make sure you take advantage and thoroughly check out your products. I need to explore some of the other tech services for Laptop and cellphone issues.
