      We have many deals and plans associated with the Total Tech plan although these may not apply to every item. Please note that Protection plans for an assorted amount of products like Apple, Sony, Samsung, Etc. would be available including Apple Care for up to two years for free while you have the Total Tech plan active on the purchase done in Best Buy.

    Awful awful awful .. they had a third party company come out to help install my new sound system … he was supposed to come bw 7-1…and go there at 4!!!….(I called to find out where he was and Best Buy told me when they contract with a third-party they just put a timeframe but often the third-party has their own separate timeframe that they don’t know about how-much messed up is that!!!) … so I spent my whole day waiting for him … when he finally came he had NO IDEA what he was doing!!…. not only in the two hours could he not hook up my speakers to my soundbar -he actually disabled two of my original ones and was not able to reconnect them ….I finally told him to forget about it I’ll do it on my own …and had him leave with things not working… then I was on the phone for almost 2 hours with Best Buy trying to get someone to help me and I just kept getting the runaround…. it was one of the worst experiences ever…. I couldn’t believe it -especially because I’m paying extra for total tech !!…so far it’s been completely not worth it and horrible customer service!!… the worst

    I was disappointed that when our new tv was delivered, that was all. No one helped with how to set it up or show us my of it’s features.

    Less than Worthless "Customer Service"

    I purchased TotalTech last year mainly for the inclusion of extended warranties, such as AppleCare, on my devices. I recently purchased two Ipad Minis. One was fulfilled with AppleCare attached and the other was not. I was told they couldn't add AppleCare for some unknown reason but I could "submit a ticket" or "buy AppleCare from Apple". Gee, what a slap in the face! I pay $200 for TT membership and I'm told to just buy the warranty directly from Apple because you can't figure out how to attach it for me?!?! I took the Ipad to a different store and they had the same issues. They offered to submit the ticket for me and did. They said to call the TotalTech line 2-3 days later. My first call ended after the agent transferred me to Apple Support to purchase AppleCare. I called back and said, "please don't transfer me, this is my second call". After explaining my issue, the agent transferred me to a line for refunds and cancellations. Not a word, no acknowledgment, just a cold-hearted transfer after I asked them not to and explained the issue. I've easily spent over $50k at Best Buy/Mag/PH over the last 5 years. There's no excuse for this type of treatment, regardless of spend or member level. I'll be going in store for a third time on the same transaction to have AppleCare added and if it still can't be, I'll be returning the iPad. The marketing team does a great job at promoting TotalTech but the boots on the ground cannot execute on delivering a remotely acceptable level of service to support the membership fee. I see this whole TT thing failing miserably in a class-action lawsuit.

    Ordered a TV with a pickup of an old one. They told me that they couldn't pick it up. So now I am stuck in limbo. They tried to tell me it was a separate ticket (it was not). They accused me of calling them a liar. Support calls, leave messages, but when I return the call, all I get is voicemail. Totaltech support rep was rude. I own my own business, if I was as bad to the customer as he was, I would no longer have that customer. So tell me Totaltech, how long must I wait and should I continue to wipe the dust off the tv? What a waste of money.

    Stay away, not worth the pain

    Save yourself the hassle. The communication between the scheduling people and the consultation folks are incredibly poor. I spent 20k on equipment while they sold this membership with the promise that they will install everything. Well, they were scheduled to do an install over a 2 hour period for TV, Media room, speakers. That wasn't enough time so they scheduled a second visit again too short. I now have an incomplete setup and they are ignoring my calls. Now they scheduled me for December. It's actually a joke how bad of an experience I've had with this given the money I spent. They also dont answer their phones, so please save yourself the hassle.
