Ordered, tried to cancel the same day since their system was completely glitching out and not working. Took a call back, waited on hold for 60-minutes, then got on chat the next day to try and cancel and they want to refund me only 75% of what I paid....NO. Chat member was unhelpful and basically said "it is what it is". When I clearly wasn't going to accept that, they cut off the chat and left. Wow, professional. Run, don't walk, run from this! Get your PS5 elsewhere, because you won't get it here anyway!

Geek Squad Home repair
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Geek Squad technician arrived extremely late and gave me an attitude about the fact he was still 25 minutes before his window expired. I have never experienced such a bad attitude from a service technician. I was watching for when he would show up, but he sat in his truck to finish his soda before bringing in the equipment. When he came in, he reiterated to me 3Xs that if i put the soundbar on the shelf it may fall off. We had a soundbar there for a year and nothing happened. I resent being treated like a child as I'm a senior. He got mad about the placement of the soundbar and then left. There are other companies that are more reliable to install audio equipment and I would recommend using a different company

As Bad As I Expected

Revolving door of different customer service associates with no clear solution. They verify my callback number, I get disconnected, and then they don't call me back. I see the TV in stock at a nearby store and they won't let me exchange for that because it's not in stock at my closest store. Absolutely the worst fears for why someone would hard pass on this type of membership being realized. Unless I'm getting a series of the worst reps back to back they don't understand their own business and will forward you around to other groups, none of them preserving my information. Save your money and aggravation.

Buyer Beware

Equipment fails, call the 800# wait on hold to then get passed around, scheduled appointments where the tech comes out and can't complete the work because they said they are too busy or didn't have the knowledge to do the setup, scheduled appointment and cancelled plans to wait 7 hours for a tech that never showed up with no call/text/email and I had to reach out to find out it was cancelled, orders cancelled with no reason given then immediately order again and it goes through.

Terrible, Terrible service

The "agent" kept disconnecting. I would get an email how they were inadvertently disconnected and tried to call. No one called. No one solved the problem or provided the service. Almost the entire chat was with a Bot or autoresponder. I've had BB support for years. They use to be responsive and efficient. Now that it is outsourced it is really just useless.

Too many hoops with no service

It has been difficult for me to get any service via totaltech. Only worked once and even then I had to jump several hoops and reschedule appointments which were canceled without notice. Every other time, the hoops have been so much that I eventually give up and look for alternate service elsewhere.

They fail to tell you that a tech has to come look at your product on one visit then order the part and come back a week later. Then they fail to ship the part to you for over a week so your without your computer or TV for 3 weeks. You also can't get your product replaced until they finish their attempted repair. This is a horrible service that is over priced for the subpar service they provide. This service should be free and included automatically on all purchases if they are unable to fix anything on the 1st visit then it should be replaced immediately.

Worst Experience on a SIMPLE QUESTION!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With over an hour (and counting) invested and conversation with 3 agents and a request to speak with a manager for which I have been on hold for 15 minutes so far, this is been the worst experience in the years that I have had a Best Buy support subscription and I will be cancelling. The support use to be great ... but I don't know what happened to you Best Buy. The question was whether my Totaltech subscription included antivirus ... and no one could answer ... REALLY???

Very Disappointed with Total Tech Service

The second time, I kept on repeating my problem and service person kept on transferring me to the right person, but I never got to the right person. I hung up! I called Apple Care and I got in and my person knew exactly what to do and helped me.

The screen on my samsung Flip3 is starting to separate in the middle, talked to total tech people they said we had to take it to the store. 90 miles away. We go to the store only to be told that it is our problem and we have to talk to Samsung. what a bunch of crap.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.delivery of laundry dryer was problematic. for some reason it would seem that upon carrying the dryer to basement and setting in place, the dryer got caught up on my TV cable, and it was torn apart. the worker gave it a lousy fix, we lost many channels in the process which we did not discover until later on. we get TV signal through both roof top antenna and internet. we were watching internet channels but when we went to the channels provided by antenna, they were not connecting

One of my home security cameras was not installed at a good angle, so I want it adjusted. Took me an hour via phone (on hold on two calls), then 20 min. via chat, just to get them to add a note to my account. Pretty frustrating system.

Waiting to be connected to manager - 38 minutes no

They installed a Nest Thermostat that was not working - no heat in the house in December. They asked to make an appointment six (6) days later (for a house with no heat). I was told that I would be connected to a manager - still waiting 40 minutes

Drunk Employees

NOPE, they won't let you cancel on the renewal date, they will cancel you on the very day that you call. So keep that in mind. Then you will get a refund for the left over days on your Best Buy credit card, but you can never use that refund, go figure. Also, the phone support person that I talked to about canceling my plan was very much Drunk.

Lose all remaining protection if you do not renew!

Don't renew and anything you purchased in the last 2 years loses its coverage the day you totaltech expires. That was not made clear at the time of purchase.
