Geek Squad is really worth the money. And the service can't be beat

So far, our Totaltech membership has paid us in spades. The Geek Squad had installed two different stereo systems, got our computers up and running, and came back to fix problems with our new stereos. The guys know what they are doing, and bring a sense of humor with them when they arrive. It's almost like having friends stopping by to help in a time of 'need'.

Great value an well investes! PROS I didn't have to pay for any installation. When my items were delivered, a Totaltech member (JAVI) came to my house and made installations. Access to certain discounts. Cons I reached out when I needed help with a theater sound that I bought online, they couldn't installed for me.

Our membership was invaluable in the installation of our flat screen tv, washing machine and dryer - and the removal of our old appliances and packaging materials. We have not experienced any problems at all, so we cannot comment on that service.

My laptop gave me an error upon startup that I couldn't get out of. I made an appointment with the Geek Squad and Bryan was able to fix it in a very short time. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time and was seen almost immediately. You never know when the Totaltech membership will come in handy, it's a good thing to have in your back pocket.

Agent Cain was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable as he quickly resolved by scam cell phone problem and also explained how scams trick you and how to avoid them. It is well worth paying this modest yearly fee for this tech service. I feel well protected by the Geek Squad techs and Agent Cain. Thanks for the prompt service.

Well worth the expense. Apple Care is free. Exempt from restocking fees. Tech support for appliances. Haul away of some appliances is included. Courteous in-home support. When comparing the cost of purchasing comparable appliance or tech gear from other vendors, these benefits bump their competition to the bottom of the list.

Do like all the protection plans and it has helped bring down cost on replacements. Had unexpected tv-dvd to replace so installation was easy and no extra cost to me. Not sure about renewing another year- not in to a lot of electronics.

No value in getting it. They don’t even unmount your TV without a price. Not worth it. I’d rather pay the full price. HOWEVER! The employees are pretty awesome. Not their fault the company doesn’t offer better deals

I was super hesitant to purchase this ‘extra’ service, but when I needed it, it was there. The guys who came out to my house knew exactly what to do, were in and out really fast. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful……I would have purchased this service before if I had understood the value. BTW…..the device they helped me with was not purchased at Best Buy.
