Totaltech is such a great value

However, the responses to my technology issues are not as prompt as they were when I became a member years ago, which often frustrates me, I still find the service helpful in resolving my technology issues.

Get totaltech peace of mind

I love total tech wouldn't change a thing

Waste of money - Tech not helpful, TV doesn't work

Ignoring chat with long waits in-between every sentence. Ignoring client of information an 'update' caused computer problems - they laugh and state ... oh so you need a tuneup? Not funny. All they seem to want to do is waste a clients time and 'guess' at the easiest fixit. Of course they have to do the "takeover of the computer" and a person is supposed to wait HOURS for their convenience. All they do lately is run their scan (which I've already done) and check on updates - didn't fix anything and had to research web to fix update problems. NEW expensive television STILL not working correctly. It was NEVER installed correctly although PAID for BestBuy totaltech installation. Internet web browser STILL freezes up several times every day. When viewing streaming movies - the blu-ray machine will turn on and take over system and turn off the movie a person was watching. Extremely disappointing. These techs used to be excellent - polite, educated and helpful. Now they play games with people making you wait, then they come online and expect a person to wait HOURS for their convenience and leave your computer on and can't use it during this time. They try to talk you out of even having the remote GeekSquad help by implying a person won't be able to wait around long enough for their call so we must just give in and give up for trying to receive help for a PAID SERVICE. Trying to get out of doing any work by lying about what 'might' be the problem and doing the shortest amount of work to fix it and then stating a person can come back ... That's what they want, give up, try later and you still won't receive help. Poor language skills. Don't waste your money, these memberships for BestBuy GeekSquad services are no longer worth it.
