It was pretty much free. I also need 2 tv's mounted and a dishwasher installed all of which are free with the membership. This is litterally the only thing it is good for. Calling support is hit or miss. They have long hold times and even the agents seem frustrated with the company and their archaic process. I won't renew next year, but I'll be sure to get everything I can free in the next 12 months.

Not really with tech work

Happy with the Sonos until we upped our wifi. The password changed and we couldn't get the Sonos to work. Tech guys came; worked 4 hours. Weren't able to get the Sonos to work as originally set. In the end we have a Sonos connected to Google and not Amazon. Not as happy with it but it does play music.

First of all it takes forever to get the agent to assist you. It seems the agent is working with several other callers when he’s chatting with you. Finally I gave up and sent to the website where it says TALK with a Totaltech agent. They ask if you want to chat with an agent or have an agent come to your house. So I ask for someone to come out and they tell me the next available appointment is two weeks out. So I say well just let me chat with someone on the phone to solve the problem. I get put on hold for 14 mins and then the call is disconnected. Thanks lots BEST BUY.

However, the tech's on the phone don't seem to be as capable as they were in the beginning. Also, they're hiring people with weaker English, and it's harder to get them to understand problems. They also seem to be oversold. It takes much longer to get problems resolved - even with simple things like a tune up. I'm becoming more hesitant to call when I have a problem with my computer. I'm not so sure I'll renew my membership.
