What I like is not only the prices but doubling of the warranty.Also the availability of the geek guys because I’m not a computer nerd and my computer hiccups at times.

The staff was very helpful when i could not make up my mind on which camera i wanted, thankful she was there because i have a hard time figuring out what i want and i was leaving for Japan really soon. the camera i got was perfect and works really good..im already planning on another trip! the canon R8 is a awesome starter/ intermediate camera works really good in low light for night time street photography !

I highly recommend this if you aren't willing to buy the same things over and over again, when they inevitably break or stop working. It's worth the price to automatically get anything you buy covered by insurance. Plus you get good deals.

I was prompted for this review in my Best Buy profile, where it also mentioned the review counts as a sweepstakes entry (for a relatively modest prize). Regardless, my rating for the Best Buy Total membership is 5 stars. I've worked in electronics for years, and know how to repair things. But consumer electronics are not amenable to repair (i.e. parts are hard to source, and disassembly & reassembly are often very time consuming, and not always intended for repair). While I disliked purchasing warranties for many years, in many cases it has simply become necessary today. Honestly, for the price, you'll have to decide your annual electronics purchase amount, in dollars per year, spread over two years, and determine is the warranty is worthwhile. A single TV or laptop purchase might justify the warranty. I wish it would carry into a third year (I think most devices only are covered for two years?) On the other hand, it extends the return window. I've only made two Best Buy warranty claims in 12 years (preceding the offering of this warranty program), but Best Buy mades it very easy to obtain a replacement for those two issues. If you're planning to purchase at least one 'big-ticket' item, consider it. Two big-ticket items, it starts becoming a really good idea.

My husband and l love our Best Buy/Geek Squad membership. We don’t ever want to be without it again. We had to cancel our membership a few years ago due to a financial hardship. Thankfully, we have it back again and are so grateful that we do. The Geek Squad installed everything we need on our new laptop, and they are so patient with older people like ourselves (78 years old).

This membership saved me a significant amount of money when my computer’s hard drive failed. They replaced it and ran a full diagnostic to restore my computer to its original settings—the only cost I paid was for the hard drive itself.

Saving money and staying covered in case of any issues. Just bought all my computer stuff under it and got a extra 2 years warranty on it all.

I like the fact that this membership covers all my devices and I can bring my phone, IPad or computer in for the Geek Squad to fix the problem I have. I'm glad the membership will be there when I need it.

I am no match for hackers....i have limited knowledge in this technical field, and i have lost $100,000 to these parasites. My 1st mistake is not signing up with BestBuys Geek Squad. These Reps are Heavy Hitters, they sanitized my laptop and my phone, plus i recieved very important tips on how to avoid being hacked again. Trust Best Buy, invest in the Geek Squad today, i should have when i bought my laptop.

Everything about this membership is fantastic! Having the Geek Squad available to assist us when we need help is priceless! Great prices and awesome employees who do a great job getting us what we need. Not to mention the having a Best Buy Card, now that has great benefits too!

This is a nice benefit but I miss the free delivery they included with this membership but took away last year.

Have used the Geek Squad twice and have gotten wonderful, knowledgeable service. The other store employees are super friendly and helpful.

The membership pays for itself over time. If you buy a lot of electronics, computers, etc. you should have this plan. On numerous occasions I've had to use them for computer upgrades, which were free, or mounting a TV and a ton of other things. If you do installs for your vehicle, it all plays a part. Plus, you get more time to return an item then if you're NOT a member.
