It is not worth it, not if you have samsung brand crap that breaks constantly and their 3rd party takes forever to get u an appoinment and it is out of geeksquad hands. You will deal with 3 different entities, they dont know anything about each other and their communication is terrible.

The thermal management system on my laptop fried the memory cards and the mother board. In spite of cashing all the premium checks, the Geek Squad seems to be lost in confusion and a language barrier. I have no idea when or if my computer can be repaired, and no one that answers the phone has any answers to my questions. This service is worthless.

The peace of mind is worth the money. I love the Geek Squad. I just had them set up a new laptop for me in my home it was awesome. The technician was great. Love the fact that if something goes wrong with our cell phones or computers they are there for us.

Tech support arrived at my house and installed TV in patio deck. Minor issues with TV but quickly corrected. Very courteous and professional. Very satisfied with service. Plus savings cannot be beaten.

This membership is a real value. I get discounts member prices and much more. The discounts are great and the protection plans are enormous. These Tech supporters are so supportive all the time and each time I visit the store they go above and out to make the customer happy each time.

I signed up for this plan when I purchased a new laptop. I cancelled it after the first year. It might be good for some people but I really don't have very many issues with my electronics, so I felt it wasn't worth the money. If you need help on a product, you have to leave it there, forever, it seems to get it fixed. The other issue was that I still needed the Geek Squad plan. I felt that I shouldn't have to pay for both plans!!!

Total te h is great if just for installing and mounting your tv professionally they do a great job but the warranty the points the help and discounts make this a great value over the time

Is Best Buy Totaltech membership the replacement name for the Geek Squad? I have not yet had to use them to I can't really say. Think I'm glad I have it and do have one upcoming appointment.

i recently had the need to use Geek Squad and I was very Impressed with their knowledge. Being a member was well worth every penny. Actually, I saved money! I would have had to call and pay for a TV AND computer technician.

This a good service to have, but to get someone out to check a problem takes far ever, been waiting over a month for some one to my computer.

Geek Squad has been a great resource and well worth the membership. I have enjoyed their service and ease of dealing with requests from setting up some TVs when I moved to IT support when my laptop was having issues. The remote support was great and I didn't have to go into the store.

Purchased this at the recommendation of the tech people when I was having a lot of difficulty with a new laptop. It saved me money in the long run and Webroot came with the purchase

Who doesn't love the fact that I now get warranty coverage for all of my purchases. Total Tech is totally worth the service fee and I would repurchase again and again.

Have been a total tech customer for years and continue to renew due to satisfaction with support. In this high tech world we live in there is no need to be frustrated with things. Just make a call or make an appointment, problem solved.

long wait to get help, don't try calling, you can not understand the person on the other end of phone once someone does answer

If you are looking at this to have appliances not bought at Best Buy covered, look elsewhere. I had a freezer that needed service. They will not pay for an appliance requiring a 3rd party repair service. So the advertised 20% off labor for advanced services did not apply.

I hesitated at 1st with the purchase because I was lacking new technology in my life. What a misunderstanding!!!! TotalTech Support was exactly what I Did Need! Everyone who has helped me has been Fantastic in every aspect! Thank you from the bottom of my PC board!

I have been with TotalTech for years and even though the price went up I will continue to use this. All I have to do is contact the Tech team and they have done a wonderful job taking care of any issues I have had with my computers.
