Of all the things I never imagined was a product, it was absolutely the Beurer Insect Bite Healer. Let's get to it. It's tiny; it looks like a Google Chromecast Remote (see pic) and takes 2 (included) AAA batteries. Turn it on, tap the button, put it on your sting/bite and in a few seconds, your bug bite/sting is hit with heat. Heat, like - you had a lighter on for a while, forgot and immediately picked it up by the metal, then placed it on your bug bite. You can burn that little area for 3 (half circle glows - see pic) or 6 seconds, depending on if you hit the button once, or tap it twice. Is it comfortable? Heck no. Does it work? Heck yes! So far, I’ve managed to stay away from stings, but I do get a bunch of little bites on my ankles and arms. I feel the itch and when I scratch it and see the ‘white dot’ - I grab this thing and zap it. Every. Single. Time I’ve used it on myself, or family members - we’ve all had no further itching. Insanity. 5 stars. Buy one just to have and some more for stocking stuffers.

The Beurer Insect Bite Healer is a tiny device with a powerful, quick-warming ceramic hot plate. The plate is placed on an insect bite to dissolve saliva or other irritants that may be under the skin. Initially I was skeptical this device would work but we were open to giving it a try. After trying it on both me and my spouse, I was surprised that not only does it get much hotter than anticipated but that it actually worked. The mosquito bites we tested it on stopped itching shortly after use and the bites didn’t become red or swollen as other bites we received the same day. I included a before and after photo, though the swelling before use was worse than the photo conveys. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids but most adults can tolerate the “sensitive” setting for 3 seconds and the small size makes it easy to have with you when traveling or spending time outdoors. Ideally prevention is the best route but this device is a great addition to your arsenal of tools.

This thing is the best ever... even if it hurts a little. Ngl, it burns... literally. Acts by burning the venom of the mosquito bite from your system. If you can deal with the short burst of heat, this thing works wonders. The sooner you use it, the better. When i have to use it on a bite that happened several hours to a day ago, it doesn't work as well. It relieves the itch and then i gotta do it again a day later. And if you do this within a few hours or eight away. It works wonders. Highly recommend.

Beurer - Insect Bite Healer is an interesting product. At first glance you may even doubt if this is really a gimmick or not. But actually it works and is a nice addition to your first aid kit especially when you’re outdoors. First this device is small and quite honestly looks like a remote control for a popular streaming device named after a search engine. How it works is generally heating up the insect bite immediately in order for it to work. The immediate heat given by the tiny ceramic healing plates dissolves any saliva or venom by the insect before the latter goes in to effect. One can imagine how this can happen with a device powered only by two AAA batteries. But it actually works. After turning it on, you can select what level of heat it can generate. First is a three second heat pulse aimed for sensitive skin. Second is a sic second heat pulse for less sensitive skin. Mind you this stings. And as a precaution, younger kids may find this as traumatic as the actual insect bite itself. But it gives immediate relief though if used immediately after the insect bite. I’d recommend this to others.

I am the one family member the bugs gravitate to the most. I seem to get bitten within seconds of stepping outside. Bug spray really hasn’t helped much and I don’t care for the chemicals anyway. But this little device really helps calm the itch! I didn’t read the description very well before I first used it so I’m glad I used the “sensitive” setting. I wasn’t prepared for the string of the hot plate. My initial reaction was that it was worse than the itch but I was wrong! That little sting really does stop that horrible itching in its tracks! I am very happy with this purchase.

Bug bites be gone. Literally went to just pick it up once it said ready for pick up, reason hot summer weather brings out the worst in bugs. They literally chewed up my both my legs from my knees down to my toes. They invited there families families, neighborhoods and all their families, dang! Woke up to itching like crazy. So that was my desperation for getting this and it worked. I will say I zapped over and over even though it stung. If you can get a tattoo and stand the pain then this is a walk in the park for you. I guess me saying “ouch” scared my daughter \(*.*)/. Guess she likes scratching/irritation over relief. Recommend, definitely YES.

This actually works.My girlfriend is a mosquito magnet! She said this is better than anti itch or after bite cream. She gets bites that hurt and this takes the pain / itch away. Sometimes it feels like you touched a lighter top for half a second but it is tolerable and worth it to not have the pain of bug bites lingering.

This little sucker works. I’m not saying it doesn’t hurt when you put it on there because it definitely does… so be prepared, but once you can handle the 15 seconds, then you can definitely handle the 30. Is definitely way better than getting itchy itchy itchy. I highly recommend this product. I didn’t believe it was going to work it first, but it definitely does.

My daughter suffers from Mosquito bites. They go after her, and for some reason, the bits persist and last for days. And they itch. We've used everything under the sun - including Benadryl to help relieve her discomfort. When I saw this at Best Buy it caught my eye. I had never encountered these devices. I was willing to try anything so I ordered one. IT WORKS! It doesn't feel good - as it concentrates heat on the bite. But it works! Not only does it stop the itching - immediately - it shortens the duration of the bite's effects. We have two now.

This works really well, and it's very easy to use. Just make sure whoever is getting it done to is prepared for the quick burst of heat. It made both my kids jump, but it relieved them instantly from the itching they had from their bug bites. I didn't know we'd need something like this, but it's nice to have something that give immediate relief instead of itch or healing creams that take time.

This device really works. When i get bitten, my skin over reacts and it can be itching for 2 weeks. This device literally makes the itching stops as soon as you use it. It gets hot especially if you use the 2nd setting which lasts for 6 seconds. But i guarantee it works.

I had an itchy bug bite with a fairly large red welt. I tried this on it, and the itching was instantly gone! It also decreased the swelling. It did burn a little while using the device, but it was tolerable. I got this as a daily deal at a good price.

This device works. I like the idea of not using more chemicals on my body. I applied it right after getting bit by a mosquito, and the expected itch wasn't there. The spot did itch the next day, but I used the device again, and the itch was gone. Also, the unit is very small. Easy to keep in your pocket when venturing into the woods.

I was skeptic about this but decided to give it a try. It does burn but not to the point whare it actually damages you. After the 2 uses i got use to it.. ohh and it actually works!! Gets rid if swelling and got rid if the ich. Ill be taking this with me all over when i travel

I thiiiink it works? Hard to tell if it’s placebo or actually very effective but after using it several times I think I can say this is money well spent. It gives a good sting, especially in the more sensitive spots but does appear to limit the itch following a bite. I’d tell others to give it a shot as well.

Wow, for years I’ve been a victim of mosquito abuse especially when I go on vacations! I used to go to the mini bars and grab the little bottles of Vodka and use them as rubbing alcohol to keep me from scratching my bites! I never knew that there was relief for this issue and it came to me in the form of Beurer’s insect bite healer! After reading a few reviews I was sold! Same day I received my BR 60, I got a fresh bite on the top of my head. Luckily, I had it in my EDC bag and was able to put it to the test and the verdict………Fast and Simple Relief! This product is a life saver and if anything ever happened to it, I’d buy like 4 more!

I do not tolerate mosquitos bites very well and the discomfort thay cause me is something I had not found immediate relief available in any form or fashion. I admit that the Beurar Insect Bite Healer sounded like snake oil until I read a couple reviews by trusted organizations who had tested it. I caught it on Deal of the Day and for the price I decided it was worth a try. When it arrived I was surprised at how small it is and can be easily carried in your clothing pockets. It is very light and durable. The biggest surprise however is the instant relief you get from insect bites once you have treated the bite with the device. Not only does it immediately eliminate the severe itching that I get from mosquitos bites it prevents the large whelps or swelling I get from the bite. The heating element on the healer is about the diameter of a pencil eraser and it gets hot immediately when activated. You feel the heat but it is isolated to the size of the heating pad and it is completely tolerable. For me the Beurer Insect Bite Healer is anything but snake oil. I keep one with me all the time when mosquitos are in season. It simply works as advertised and I 100% recommend this device.

I am familiar with Beurer and I would always trust their products. When I came across this product at Best Buy, I was intrigued and wanted to give it a try. I am glad I did. The entire family likes it. It does work well, as described and has an attractive and portable design. I plan on using it a lot as we spend a good amount of time in nature. Well done Beurer!

I tend to get bitten whenever I'm outside, no matter how long I'm out. This item has been a lifesaver on several occasions. It does get hot, and the three seconds it takes to use it can feel really long, but the absence of endless itching afterward makes it worth it!

Was curious to see if this worked. To my surprise it works! Some areas of the body it can get a little hot if you are sensitive. Some bites might require a couple of treatments but this is better than using chemicals.
