I am just not that into this album... Her older work is much more fun.

I think the album is not worth the price, only good thing is the DVD to watch

This is not a good CD to buy. I dnt care for it. A waste of money.

From the first time I heard "Crazy In Love" and saw the video premiere while I was in high school, I had a feeling there was nowhere for Beyonce to go but up. With each album, she progressed and allowed her talent to blossom, although there were times when it felt controlled and calculated. When I found out this album dropped (accidentally I'll add), I seriously thought it was a rumor. Luckily enough, my big brother bought this for me off iTunes and I've been having it on repeat since. I plan on definitely buying a physical copy as soon as I can. What surprised me was how open she was throughout this album. Any and everyone already knows she has the vocal talent, it's just that it all felt rehearsed and we, well I, wanted her to be more personable and personal. Perhaps infuse more of herself into the songs as opposed to having songwriters write the songs, she does a little arranging here and there and then puts enough conviction to win the listener over. This album has that "labor of love" feeling. After the birth of Blue Ivy, Beyonce seems to have become a whole new woman, and this self-titled album is proof of it. My personal favorite(s) are "Blow" due to Pharrell Williams's always-flawless production, "Superpower" which features Frank Ocean but doesn't have him overpower the song with his vocals (a good thing), and "Drunk In Love" with Jay Z, which definitely feels like an upgraded successor to "Crazy In Love", "Upgrade U' and "Deja Vu". What I have yet to touch on is that with this openness on display, this will come as quite a surprise with it being Beyonce's first album adorned with the "Parental Advisory" sticker. One song, "Partition", definitely takes liberty with a little vulgarity and a Monica Lewinsky reference. In short, she's a grown woman, like she's stated, and this album definitely further solidifies her as a mother, wife and world-renowned entertainer.

This is Beyonce's best album! I have all of her albums, but this is definitely her best in my opinion. That is saying a lot because all of her albums are great. I listen to this album all the time, and I don't see that stopping at any time soon. You should definitely buy this album if you like Beyonce or R&B/Pop music.

This album is by far Beyonce's best album yet! I'm not a die hard Beyonce fan but this album took me to a greater level of appreciation for Beyonce's music and entertainment skills. She's a very talented artist and I think this album will gain her a more mature audience of fans. Great work and a great buy. I would've bought this album for more than what it's selling for! You get music and videos for the price of 1!

This CD is absolutely awesome and the wait was well worth it. She is truly on another level and the 17 videos was the icing on top of the cake. I absolutely love the album.

I am a HUGE Beyonce fan and if you are a big fan of Beyonce like I am then I highly suggest you get it. Not only does it have 14 songs but she gives you 17 bonus music videos for each song. She worked her butt off while on tour. Her album reached platinum in less than a week. But if you dont like Beyonce, keep the negativity to yourself and let the others enjoy the album.

Purchased the album off iTunes but I'm also a visual buyer so I had to have the full copy to store with my many Dc3 Purchased Items!! Destiny's Child Reunion Please!!..:)

It a must buy love the tracks on the album way to go Ms Carter !

I prefer some of her other music over this cd's song selection.
