So so game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the game on ratings others gave it. Sorry I didn't pay attention to the fact most had played previous installments, therefore were knowledgable of the complexities. Graphics were ok, but in exact like I am familiar with in Zelda games.

One of the best games I've played
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought the previews and ads were just too good to be true. And they were, to an extent. The graphics aren't nearly as nice as the commercials make it look. But once you're immersed into the game, it's really a well-detailed, well-designed world. I'm not typically into these sci-fi, alternate reality type games. But it's really an incredible game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's probably one of the top 10 games I've ever played. It'll be hard for 2K to ever top this. Anyways, onto the game... The gameplay is excellent. The story is really well-written. On the downside, it plays through pretty quickly. I played through it twice(once on hard, once on the unlockable 1999 mode to get Platinum) in 2 or 3 weeks, and if I'd had more time to devote to it, I could've easily done it in less than a week. Also, there's no co-op or multiplayer modes of any kind. Just single-player. So the only re-playability it really has is if you decide to play through a second time to finish off all the trophies or if you buy a DLC expansion later on. I really enjoyed my time with it. I don't plan on purchasing any DLC for it, however. The cost of the DLC seems a bit high to me. And besides that, there are a lot of good looking games coming out this summer/early fall 2013.

Abolutely Epic!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you loved the original Bioshock or even if you liked Bioshock 2... it doesn't matter. This game is astonishingly beautiful on it's own. The characters are amazing and the story is great. You should play Bioshock because it's awesome, but it isn't required to become immersed in this game. Technically speaking, this game is set a few decades before the events of Bioshock. I'm a fan of games with a great story. Uncharted and Dead Space are two of my favorites. They have compelling stories and excellent gameplay. But Bioshock Infinite is on an entirely different level. It really is amazing! Do yourself a favor and don't rush it. Don't try to finish it as fast as possible. Take your time and explore Columbia. Really take the time to enjoy the game and you absolutely will not be disappointed.

Like playing your favorite sci-fi action movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.eing that I tried (but didn't really care for) the second Bioshock, I was a little worried about how this game was going to be. Thankfully, within the first ten minutes, this game felt like a completely different beast. The colors, the sky, the freedom from the claustrophobic atmosphere was apparent that this game was going to be a reincarnation of itself. The city in the sky is fully fleshed out living and breathing eco-system filled with religion, patriotism, racism and revolution. There are parts of the city that are rich and poor, peacefully pristine and war torn, historic and futuristic. Each person has their own story and place in the world, and the main characters are fleshed out to the depths of any your favorite movie characters. In short, you could write an award winning essay based upon this game, the content in this game is as rich as your high teacher's favorite classical novel. And then there's the gameplay. I played on the normal setting, and noticed the difficulty was a little on the easy side. But maybe that's a testament to how well this game was crafted. Like a fine tuned sports car, this game has tight controls, great graphics, and an amazing, musical score. There are so many fun ways to play the same combat events out in this game, it's a rare feat to even consider replaying a single player game through multiple times, but for this game I wouldn't even hesitate. The upgrade system has also been tuned in such a way that it always left me satisfied after purchasing my upgrades, but wanting/craving to buy so much more things. This game is a fairly long adventure with a somewhat satisfying ending. The pace dropped off a little too much for my liking towards the end, and even though it seemed well fleshed out, it felt a little numb because of the brief moments of inactivity. But for me, it provided a very deep and rewarding experience that I'd encourage everyone to try. 5/5

Wow... Just wow
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved every moment of Bioshock Infinite. It totally blew me away. I loved the first two, and now this is my favorite. It really is the most perfect game I have played to date. I play all my shooting games on easy, because I enjoy the story more than anything else. I found that it gave me the right amount of challenge.

Amazing story,wonderful characters,solid gameplay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is simply stunning, the world is vibrant, the story engaging and thought provoking, and Elizabeth has to be one of my all-time favorite characters in a video game. The only thing I would comment is the game feels rather short, I wish it was long and covered more of the plot without leaving me trying to figure some stuff out, but this is BioShock after all... Easily one of the best games I have played on the PS3/360 and easily the best game of 2013 so far.
