Too weak. Will not pick up dust from a hardwood floor. Just moves it around. The stick design is good and the swiveling foot is useful, but the suction is just too weak. A high quality handheld rechargeable will not cost half as much. Best Buy has a 14-day return policy. I bought this as a Christmas present, which was not given, and found the product useless when I tried it myself, recently. Will proceed to charge back since Best Buy refuses to refund the price.

We were very happy with this wireless vac. It charges relatively fast and then works quite a while before it gets drained. The vac is light enough that my son wanted to vacuum the stairs with it. It has sufficient suction power as well. Of course it won't compare to regular vacs that costs hundreds but for buck there is a lot of bang. Being wireless is nice because it can be used on stairs easily or even in the car. This is the first wireless vac that I have approved of.

If you’re looking for a small and portable stick vacuum the BISSELL Adapt Ion XRT Is a good fit. It’s small and light and gets the job done. I usually use this for small jobs upstairs when I don’t want to lug my traditional vacuum up the stairs. The vacuum is basically a handheld that plugs into a stick vacuum base. You can remove it from its base and use it as a handheld. Good for using in your car also. It comes with a few attachments and a wall plug. Run time is a bit low with about 20 minutes each charge. If you’re looking for something for small jobs and is portable this would be a good fit.

This vacuum is good for smaller areas of the home like a bedroom or small living room but the battery doesn't last long enough for general house cleaning that takes longer than an hour. You can get a good use out of it in 20 minutes but it'll take all day to charge back up. The suction is very powerful and picks up dirt easily on carpet and hard floors especially. You can also use it on your sofa and i use it for my car with the included attachments. Overall it's a good small portable cordless vacuum that I get a good use out of every now and then. If you need to do a quick clean up this is a useful vacuum. If you need to do deep hardcore cleaning I suggest looking elsewhere.

I have been testing / using this vacuum every day for about a week now and I really like it. I will say, I have a heavy shedding large breed dog and honestly would not suggest for a household that has multiple large breeds that shed. It is good but that is next level and not really what I think they had in mind for this unit. That said, this device is perfect otherwise. The Adapt ION XRT is small, lightweight, convertible, and has pretty good suction in a swivel head stick vacuum. The 14.4v battery offers enough power to do my entire average sized 3-bedroom house a couple of times before completely dying out. I will add also that the power usage is even solid toward the last little bit of battery life. I really appreciate the washable filter too. Bissell didn't recreate the wheel with this one but did step up their product line with it. The swivel head, ability to be collapse, and or convert to a handheld gives Bissell a top tier contender in this field.

This is an outstanding product as a back up or mobile option to your main vacuum. I am most excited to use this in our travel trailer instead of using a broom. The battery life is as expected and I LOVE the size it folds down to for storage. This does the job of more expensive options and is essentially two vacuums in one with how it detaches from the handle. I have used this to clean vehicles and our home. Highly recommend for mobile vacuuming and realistically due to battery run times for smaller living spaces.

    Works Great, After Being Replaced

I had bought this for my mother, who was looking for something light and easy to use for quick cleanups. Everything seemed fine, until it didn't urn on, even when charged. I own one myself, but never had an issue. Luckily, Bissell was easy to deal with, and had sent a new one under warranty at no charge. No issues so far. As for the vacuum itself, it's powerful enough to pick up pet hair, it has easy to clean filters, and works on hard floors or carpet. The hand vac is great for furniture and steps, and is light and easy to use. This is only 3 stars because of the battery issue happening within a month of purchase. It works perfectly, and I've never had an issue with a Bissell product before. Their customer service made it right, though. And they were fast at sending a new one!

I honestly have never known Bissell to have cutting edge technology. This one still is not ahead of the curve, but it surely does things more expensive brands can do. 1) Versatility- I need to clean my floor? No problem. It is in the usual floor vacuum format we are used to seeing. I need to clean my couch? No problem. It detaches to be a good handheld vacuum. I even used it to clean my car—especially those crevices. 2) Listens to me – I always have a hard time getting under the couch, or the kids’ beds, or the dining chair. The floor vacuum folds in the middle so that it can clean those areas WITHOUT ME BREAKING MY BACK. 3) Convenient – charges fast and easy, with the nice light indicator to tell me it’s fully charged and and I can easily stow it with the folding hinges. It is also EASY TO CLEAN / EMPTY and is light to carry—these things we NEED in a vacuum. 4) Reasonable – the feel is not of super high quality, but it is durable and reliable. It does what it needs to do. And most of all, I feel like it is worth more than its actual value (while other brands feel like you overpaid because of the frills). You know that friend who never treats you to anything but is always there when you need him for things that matter? This is how this one makes me feel. I like it. It is a no-nonsense vacuum.

    Great Convertible Vacuum

I'm really liking this convertible vacuum. It allows me to use it as a traditional vacuum for rooms with carpet. I can disable the brushes and use it on rooms with hardwood and tile. The main part of the vacuum can be disassembled from the handle and frame, and be used as a portable hand held vacuum. Suction and power is pretty good too for its size. It has a light indicator that lets you know when the unit is charging, needs charging, fully charging, etc. I wish it had a series of lights that would allow you to know how much battery life you have while using the unit. Other than that, I really like this vacuum for quick cleanups.

The main purpose of getting this particular vacuum was to help clean my car. Cleaning the carpet in the house was its secondary purpose. My main gripe is that it's not powerful enough. I found myself trying each attachment or no attachments and not a single variation would be perfect. I found myself just grabbing pieces of dirt or unwanted material out of my car with my own hands or by using wet wipes. If I had to give a percentage it picked up maybe 70%. Vacuums that I've used with my car in the past could definitely pick up more. That could be because it's battery-powered and it's not able to provide more power because of such. It's a good vacuum don't get me wrong and I feel like it could fit into someone's cleaning equipment but it would probably be the 2nd or 3rd vacuum I would purchase. I was hoping for one that could be portable and function as a regular vacuum but it just falls short on power. Looking forward to more powerful iterations.

Cordless Long Charge Cycle with Power

Finally a convertible stick-vac that is cordless, has useful power and holds a charge long enough for several cleaning jobs. I have used many similar products and the biggest problem was that after 4-5 minutes the charge ran out. This little guy did my car front, back and trunk; then let me vacuum over 300 square feet of indoor/outdoor basement carpet, a set of 20 carpeted steps and still was running strong. On top of all this, it has a very effective rotating brush that you can turn on or leave off when not needed. It has a big green indicator when it is fully charged. The hand-vac fits snugly in the stick frame for when you want to stand and do the floor carpet but pops out easily when you want the hand-vac. It did include a narrow nozzle for getting in smaller spaces and a brush head that you can attach or remove as desired. These attachments let me do a great job on an old couch; cleaning the cushions and getting down into the areas where the pretzel pieces live. I do recommend this unit which has a very solid feel, clever design points and has excellent power.

    Hand VAC Krang

The Bissell adapt is a pretty nice Vacuum, you have your traditional Hand Vac which becomes a full-fledged stick vacuum once docked. The stick vacuum mode is useful for cleaning up after the pets, I use it to vacuum up hair and kitty litter, the vacuum works well and the two way folding handle is a nice touch when cleaning under tables or other low furniture. The handheld mode pops out with the press of a button, this works just as you would expect a handheld vac to work, I like the little plastic flap inside the suction end, this opens when on but closes when off so you do not need to worry about anything you just vacuumed up to fall out. It was a nice touch for them to include power on both the handheld and the stick, so they both feel like complete products, not needing to control the vacuum power from the handheld only The vacuum is definitely versitile and features 20 minutes of run time on a single charge, I mainly use this for spot cleaning and handheld mode for the car and spot cleaning after working on dry wall. I would recommend this vacuum for anyone that is looking to invest in a handheld, you get the additional function of an upright that may save you from crawling around under spaces.

Cordless vacuums are awesome these days -- they are very convenient and pretty powerful. My main vacuum at home is a cordless, and I'm really happy with it. This stick vacuum is not my main vacuum though. I got it for its portability and I'm super happy with it as a very light-duty upright and as a really good handheld. It's perfect for my crafting workshop, and when it isn't Winter, it will live in my RV. It's also a perfect camping vacuum. It's very maneuverable and does a great job getting dust from seats and tucked away in corners. The battery lasts plenty long enough for small spaces. When you get it, plug it in and let it charge before you try to use it. Mine was completely dead when I got it, but it was great after charging overnight. My main criticism with it is tool storage. It would have been really slick if it had clips or something to hold the tools.

We use this primarily in the kitchen and dining room for quick clean-ups, but have used it around the house – including detaching and using the hand vacuum to remove pet hair from the furniture. It has decent suction power, the roller brush seems to work well, the run time on the battery is decent, and it does an overall good job. It would be nice to have a second battery to have to avoid keeping the single battery always charged and ready for the next use. I would not consider using this for an entire floor – or for the whole house. It does do well for us; however, as a daily cleaner-upper in the kitchen and dining room.
